First one of the year. Join us tonight on the sandy beach by north wall in Lyme Regis for our Chilly Chilli Night. This months charity is below. We will have several people from the charity to discuss the nature and scope of the counseling they provide.

Same as usual

7pm Fire lit
7:30pm Food Served
8pm Fire Breathing
8:30pm Swim in Sea

We have a Vegan and a Meaty chilli available, if you like your chilli with something please bring with you or buy from local vendors. (Last month someone brought a bag of Doritos, cut the side and we poured the chilli directly into bag - genius).

Everything is free and you dont have to swim this has become a lovely event for people to come together and socialize. You can donate whatever you feel appropriate to the charity below.

Don’t fear vegan chilli fans we are making even more vegan chilli this time it’s nearly equal amounts after last months 60 portions (before seconds and thirds of course)

Thank you all for joining again last night. Was a wonderful Christmas Full moon Chilly Chilli night. You wonderful people have managed to raise a whopping £358 cash for the evening going towards this brave boy below. Come check out our lovely new bottle store area. Perfect for gift packs and stocking fillers. Here today offering mulled wines, hot chocs with or without baileys and gift packs. Come join the Big Christmas Weekend in Lyme Regis with free parking. Also our December Film list and box office program. If you fancy a Christmas movie trip join the many who have booked private movie nights for whatever film you fancy, enjoy the comfy sofa seating downstairs with stone baked pizzas, beer and all comforts for good season cheer.

Two dates for your calendar

15th of December our monthly full moon swim with vegan or meaty chilli, bon fire, fire breathing and swim starting at 7pm we have the wonderful moonrakers joining us this month for added christmasness.

22nd of December our “Staff” Christmas party. If you’ve ever poured yourself a pint at our tap room then you’re “staff” as a thank you and Christmas treat we’re gifting a free half pint and half pint glass. Pop in on Sunday the 22nd 12-11pm to receive and please wear a horrible Christmas jumper too.

Or come join us at our little independent cinema on our comfy sofa seating watching our wide array of movies from cult, foreign, classic or box office screenings. Head to our website to see our Christmas Movie line up and if you have a favourite film tell us and we will put it to our vote night on Sundays or we can arrange a private screening for up to 20 people. All our food and drink is brought down to your comfy sofa with our blankets, cushions and plush Dino’s to keep you company. Let’s do a Halloween parade with Pumpkins!!!

Dress up or think spooky thoughts adults and/or children

We will be open 2-5 This Thursday the 31st for Halloween Pumpkin carving then at 5pm we will walk down to North Wall on the sandy Beach and try and turn North Wall into a spooky pumpkin wall with as many as we can for a candle lit photo

(Please make sure to dispose of your pumpkins appropriately afterwards to help us with clearing up)

Free Tomorrow then come join in at the Ukraine Craft Fair in Poundbury, Dorchester 10am-2pm. We will be selling cans of “A wheat beer for Zelenskyy” made at Gyle Fifty-Nine. A recipe send over from a brewery in Ukraine. All the money raised will be donated towards the purchase of vehicles and supplies to be sent to Ukraine. If we have any cans left over they’ll be available at the shop. Thank you Gorilla Canning for the wonderful machine it works a treat and thank you for the video that informed me such a great canning machine company was only along the way in Bridport.

Thank you to all the lovely people who ordered pizza and other bits for delivery last week. We went to Chard, Hawkchurch, Axminster, Seaton, Uplyme, Lyme, Compbyne, Kilmington and lots of others. We’re getting a lot of questions about where we are happy to deliver and when.

We can deliver for free anywhere within 10 miles from Lyme Regis, no matter the hidden village or creek,

and we do a minimum order of £50 OUTSIDE of the 10 miles or a charge of £10.

Pizza Delivery!! Stay in away from this horrible storm. We can do delivery our stone baked pizzas. We also offer Gluten Free and Vegan pizzas. Or try our Wings, we have seven different sauces and can do nuggets, wings, halloumi or vegan nuggets. Our favourite thing about our bar is that these people don’t know each other but after one little nod of “which beer you drinking” they all turn into long lost friends. We feel the same about our “regulars” people who have become like family. Distance and Time is no problem for good people. Thank you our little Fox and Owl Family

Join us this Saturday the 21st from 12pm-5pm up at Gyle Fifty-Nine Brewery with these lovely people performing at 2pm The Jurassix. They raise money for the Children’s Hospice and they entertain all. We can do free pick up and drop off from the Cellar in Lyme Regis. Tuk Tuk on site doing hotdogs with coleslaw and onion rings, burgers (Beef or Chicken) with chips and deep fried Oreos. GF, Vegan and Veggie options too. Only one more beer festival Saturday left this year after this one so come on up and cheer out the season this Saturday and/or next.

Chilly Chilli Night is on the 18th, this Wednesday this month it’ll be our 9th event. Lovely to have served and seen so many and look forward to more. Join us at 7pm for the bon fire, 7:30pm for chilli, 8pm for some fire breathing then a swim in the sea. Come on down folks, we will have vegan and meaty chili available for all, donate to the charity in the picture. We should have a representative from the charity too.

Town council have told us they own the beach and that we are required to seek permission to do so. Does this mean all charitable events and bbq’s are required to seek permission and at what size does a family gathering need permission to gather. If it’s the fire breathing i learnt from fire breathers on Lyme Regis beach 20 plus years ago and have been doing so since when I’ve lived in Lyme.
