🍞 SUPPLIER SHOUTOUT 🍞

Bluebird Bakery supply all the bread we use, they bake through the night so we can pick them up on the day of your wedding or event. It doesn't get much fresher.

Like us, they started at their kitchen table and now have 6 locations across Yorkshire.

They use local flour alongside wild and organic yeast whilst using traditional slow fermentation methods. This results in the best bakes!

My favourite is the 7 Seeder and Emma is partial to the Almond Croissant... what's your favourite bake?

Guests literally chase us around venues when they see the Fish and Chips come out at the drinks reception.

Using fresh Cod, chipping with Koffmann Potatoes and our own Tartare Sauce. You can see why it's a winner, EVERYTIME!

We had the best day with B and K recently at . Canapés, Wedding Breakfast and rounding their special day off with our Chicken Shawarmas for evening food. Yum! 😋

We often lose our couples (temporarily!) as they are rushed away by their photographer to grab pictures in this most amazing light.
You'll often find Dom getting pics of the vans in this light too 😆

This week we had the pleasure of being asked to provide canapés for at one of our fav places, The Oakwood at Ryther.

This was to celebrate the launch of their new Vantage. Boasting over 600bhp, Dom was in his element!

It was a great evening and a little different to the norm.

CRUMBLE

An absolute English Staple!

Ours matches the seasons all year round. Always a few flavours on the go.

This one was Toffee Apple and Yorkshire Rhubarb, White Chocolate and Ginger Crumb. Topped with Vanilla Ice Cream and Sour Apple Crisp.

On taster today and coming up plenty of times over the upcoming wedding season. A nice little starter. Dom's Smoked Fishcake and Tartare Sauce.

We smoke the fish ourselves for these babies and serve it with a warm Tartare Sauce and Samphire.

Triple Choc Brownie. Made by us, using the best Belgian Chocolate, Eggs laid in Scarborough and Butter from the Dales. Rich, indulgent and unexcusable filth! This bad boy was served with Raspberries, Honeycomb and Vanilla Ice Cream.

We currently have 100s of Yorky Puds going through the ovens this week for Winter Weddings. However, one thing the Team at DK HQ can't quite agree on - should a Yorky Pud be on the Christmas day dinner plate?
