So we now have a date for this exciting workshop making festive canapes in preparation for the Christmas season. The workshop will be very hands on with everyone making their own canapes.. bring a container to take them home or stay for a drink and chat.

Canapes will include
- Parma ham parcels
- Goat’s cheese Christmas ‘bombs’
- Corn cakes with avocado salsa and roast tomato
- Spinach and smoked salmon roulade bites
- Watermelon hearts and/or prawn, mango and cucumber cups

Pippa has been hosting workshops for years initially from her kitchen in Hong Kong and more recently from Warwickshire. I have persuaded her to come to Malvern and share her skills with us. Only 8 spaces available so book soon to secure your place.

I will also show you how to make a fun festive table arrangement using foliage from my garden that you can replicate and take home with you.

Exciting news.. I’m collaborating with a lovely friend and chef Pippa on hosting some wonderful Christmas Canapé workshops from Sherridge this November. We will make a small table arrangement too. Details to be confirmed but probably a morning. You will all go home with some delicious festive canapés feeling inspired to try them out at home. Very hands on. Who’s up for this? Don’t those canapés look beautiful!

Thursday 10th October 2024, 9-11 am - Foraging and create a seasonal arrangement to take home

Bring your wellies, some secateurs and we will walk around the garden and locally on the farm tracks to forage for autumn foliage, berries, seed heads, pheasant feathers and anything else you can find before returning to the comfort of my kitchen to arrange them into a huge bouquet or arrangement to take home with you. You will be wowed by what you will create!

Thursday 7th November 2024, 6-8 pm - Potting up spring bulbs and learn how to plant a bulb lasagne.

Bring several indoor containers of your own and I'll provide a selection of hyacinth, narcissi and other spring bulbs for you to plant up. Additional bulbs available to buy if you want. I'll also show you how to plant up a hugh outdoor container as a "Bulb lasagne" which will then explode in Spring giving you weeks of flowers to behold and enjoy.

Drinks and homemade cake included.

The next Flower Club workshop is fast approaching and this time we will be making buttonholes and corsages - both fun to wear for any occasion even if only a relaxed lunch or for a more formal event. We will be using flowers from my garden and you are welcome to have a look round and see what I have growing. There will be lots of cake and flowery chat so why not persuade a friend to join you and treat yourselves to a few hours of escapism playing with flowers. All bookings through my website. So I have teamed up with some special local friends to host this exclusive Wellness Retreat on the farm on Saturday 7th September 2024. Limited places available so book quickly! Start the day with some revitalising pilates with the inspirational Zoe on the lawn. Then take a refreshing dip in Maryanne's beautiful swimming lake. Warm up in the wood fired sauna and hot tub followed by a walk across the farm to Sherridge for lunch in Kat's garden at Sherridge. Finally, an opportunity to pick your own flowers and I will show you how to make your very own hand-tied bouquet brimming with dahlias and other seasonal flowers for you to take home. All refreshments, lunch and homemade cakes included. Why not make a weekend of it? The next Flower Club workshops are fast approaching. Once again I'm hosting a morning (10-12pm) and evening session (7-9 pm) on Thursday 16th May 2024. This time I will be showing you how to sow your flower seeds and how to pot on any seedlings. We will be sowing a variety of gorgeous annual seeds which will hopefully bloom later in the summer and which you can take away with you. Start saving those plastic food trays and bring them along to use. Hopefully we will be outside so wrap up warm.. and as always there will be home made cake and refreshments and a tour of my cutting plot which is starting to fill up! So excited to let you know that I’m leading a team of flower farmers and florists from the West Midlands region of and we have been selected to decorate the iconic RHS Letters at next weeks RHS Malvern. The talented Nicola from has designed the letters to depict a year in the life of a flower farmer.. we will be using all local British flowers, plants, seed heads and using a willow structure as support. We start the build in a weeks time and the show opens on Thursday 9 th May.. do come and find us for your selfie in front of the letters with the back drop of the beautiful Malvern Hills. We hope the weather will be improving 🤞🤞. (The photo above is actually from 2022 when the letters were decorated by Dahlia Beach).

Any husbands, dads, partners interested in coming to a fun workshop for the boys! Lots of brownie points for making your own beautiful bouquet of all British flowers to give to a loved one on Valentines Day! Beer on tap.. so bring a friend and share the driving… And as it’s Shrove Tuesday, my daughter will be making lots of pancakes for you all. You will learn how to make your own hand tied bouquet made with tulips, narcissi, p***y willow, hellebores and foliage from our garden.

Jemima has been chosen to represent “Flowers from the Farm” at this weekend where she will be exhibiting something incredible.. she will be able to share her experiences from the festival at these workshops.
No floristry experience required and all materials, mechanics, refreshments are included. More info in my bio. Come and join Jemima and I.
