Juggling 🤹‍♀️

In my case Events and Motherhood:

A Balancing Act that i'm sure isn't for everyone!

Being a working mum is like managing two full-time jobs, and when one of those jobs involves planning and coordinating events, the challenge becomes even more testing.

As a mum in the events industry, each day is a delicate pirouette between managing timelines, coordinating details, managing the expectations of my clients, whilst ordering lunches online. doing school pick up and running through the dialogue for Nancy in Oliver (school play!)

It's one hell of a balancing act that requires flexibility, resilience, and a bloody good sense of humour 😂

Planning ahead, creating schedules, and anticipating potential challenges help maintain a sense of order, and a feeling of security.
That said just as events don't always go as planned, parenting is filled with unexpected twists and turns, and an ability to change lanes at a moments notice often becomes a necessity.

Whilst balancing motherhood and events brings many challenges, Ive learnt to embrace the beautiful chaos of both worlds.

Unexpectedly ive found that each role compliments the other, and surprisingly makes me not only a better events planner but a better Mum too 🥰🎉

Hey Monday people.

I'm always talking about my events work, how I love it, how varied and exciting it is, and it is ! It absolutely is, and I love it millions.

But today i'm going to talk a little bit about the other work I do, the administration work, the personal assistance work that I do as a VA for small to medium businesses and their senior managers.

Is it as glamorous sounding as securing a high profile sponsor for an event? Or is is as exhilarating as managing a fast paced conference? Maybe not, BUT is it as essential to that business?
