Garlic Herb Camembert Bread Bowl 🥰🧄🧀
This is just what your weekend needs! This bread bowl is made with baked Camembert.
Here's the recipe:
1 sourdough bread bowl
1 wheel Camembert
1 garlic, minced
Pepper, to taste
Fresh chives, parsley, and/or thyme, chopped, to taste
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
Cut off the top of the bread boule so the top surface is flat and without crust. Slice the crusty top into sticks and set aside. Carefully cut the top rind off of the Camembert wheel. Set the Camembert wheel on top of the bread and cut out a hole for the cheese.
Set the Camembert aside and remove the cut out bread.
Place the Camembert, cut-side up, inside the bread and set it on a baking sheet.
Scoop out about 2 tablespoons of the center of the Camembert and sprinkle with garlic and fresh herbs. Season with salt and pepper. Arrange the bread sticks next to the bread on the baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes, until the Camembert is completely melted. Carefully stir the Camembert inside of the boule, until smooth.
Top with more fresh herbs and serve.
