After a few incidents last night, I would just like to post some tips for future reference.

If you ask for a request and the DJ says they will play it, don't demand for it to be played now. Especially don't demand for them to stop the song that is current playing, to play yours.

If a song that you have asked for finishes and you don't like the next song after it, don't start calling the DJ s**t. The music isn't just for you.

When the DJ approaches you after you've called them a s**t DJ, even though it's something they wouldn't normally do, and asks you is there any songs you would like playing, don't then say to the DJ, "do you want me to DJ for you". Trust me, you aren't getting any requests after that.

If a DJ is doing a night with a specific genre of music, for example Dance music. When they refuse your request for a slow Robbie Williams song, or a 70s disco song. Then just leave it at that. Hanging around and mithering isn't going to change their mind.

All I'm saying is be nice to everyone, including DJs. They are not your personal Spotify.
