WE'RE CLOSING!
It's with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of 52creative.
The reason being is that myself and my family are moving to a new city and with that, I am starting a new full-time job in the arts and will no longer be able to run 52creative.

It has been an amazing journey running my own business, working with so many artists and providing so many amazing art workshops and events to clients across the UK! It has a pleasure to say the least!

We have loved the challenge of creating new workshops, bringing them to new audiences and hopefully getting more people being creative along the way!

Thank you to everyone we have worked with and everyone that has supported us!

We already have bookings coming in for 2024 including our very popular Chinese Painting Workshop in celebration of Chinese New Year (in February).

Learn the art of Sumi-e or traditional Chinese painting. From birds, to flowers, you will learn the techniques to create all the above by using individual brush strokes on rice paper. You will then create a final piece which can include blossom trees, bamboo sticks and leaves, or maybe a mountain scenery.

You will be guided by a professional artist who will take you through the class to end with a final piece that is unique to you.

Available to book now for your work place, party, apartments etc.

Another happy client!

We held a Christmas themed Life Drawing workshop, where the life model used tinsel, baubles and a mix of Christmas decorations to enhance her poses.

The festive season is upon us, so what better way to get into the Christmas spirit than to make your own Christmas bauble?!

We offer a Bauble Paint Pouring workshop where participants can decorate a bauble using a pouring paints technique. They can mix their own colours and pour this into the bauble creating this marbling effect. They can tie a ribbon and decorate the outside with metallic pens. Great as a fun night, to add to your decorations or to gift to a loved one.

We recently held a Lino printing Christmas card workshop at Chapel Wharf, Manchester.

The participants learnt all the basic skills on how to design their own cards, transfer this to the lino and then print them, ready to give to their friends and family. This is a great workshop not only to learn a new skill, but to leave with something completely personal to you to give to your loved ones this festive season.

Here are some images from our recent Drop-in Crochet workshop held at Affinity Living apartments in Manchester. Over the course of 3 hours, people could drop in and learn how to crochet a granny square, which then they can learn how to develop this into a blanket or bag etc.

We had great feedback, with lots of people attending, and lots of dogs attending too!
