Here at The Antiques Village COURTYARD until 4. Tomorrow the studio will be closed as we transport this selection to Platt Fields Market Garden for their Farmers Market 10-2

Thanks so much to everyone who came by The Antiques Village Courtyard yesterday for our open day! I didn't get time to take any photos but it was a great success and we had lots of good feedback. Hopefully we can do it again soon🤞

It's today!!!!! Our open day is today. Get yourself over to The The Levenshulme Antiques Village where you can have a browse in The Courtyard and see what we do and purchase some hand made goods. Vintage clothing, flowers, candles, upholstery, houseplants, knives, photos and framing, printing, woodwork and more!
The Manchester School of Costume are also displaying their incredible costumes in and around the Antiques Village.

Van loaded with some colourful beauties ready for the weekend!

Don't forget it's our open day here at The Antiques Village. Our makers and traders will all be on hand to chat and answer any questions about what we do.

Get your photo taken by Rob the Framer, make a print with Kal from Studio 32 or watch Sharlene as she does an upholstery demo. We've also got the lovely Jonathan from The Manchester School of Costume showcasing his costumes throughout The Courtyard and main building.

We also have some guest stalls selling vintage clothing, candles and leather goods.

It's going to be a great day. Lots to see and do.

I am obsessed with everything about these dresses by Sebastian Seventy Four. The textures, the forms, the way they fall on the body, incredible! Like nothing I've seen, so stunning.

Taken from the sustainable fashion show - HortiCultured by Manchester Fashion Movement at RHS Garden Bridgewater

The flowers were chosen by Sebastian himself and structurally worked perfectly with the garments. We paired the navy blue and black ensemble with green amaranthus and the twins held french ruscus and purple gypsophila.

I had so much fun working on this project with the loveliest team 🤍

I am itching to share what we're up to for this year's Manchester Flower Festival!
Our first flower fest with Sweet Bud ❤️
All will be announced next week 👀

In the meantime here's what I've made for another florist in previous years...

Elephant and Giraffe for the theme was the jubilee so we went for an opulent royal theme inspired by Beyonce

Royal Crown for the shops external display. I made a replica of Queen Lizzie's crown using wire, moss and fresh flowers

Willow Tree for inspired by Wind in the Willows. I designed and created this display with help from the team. I even made a little Toad of Tatton Hall 💚

If anyone wants a fresh flower display for this year's Manchester Flower Festival, please get in touch as soon as possible as we only have availability for one more and the deadline to be a part of the fringe displays is 10th April.
