Merry Christmas from LFX Events

Our teams are still hard at work producing Winter Lights events for our friends Culture Creative - and will be throughout the festive period, so from all of the teams out their helping to bring the Christmas Magic and from those of us taking a break, we hope everyone has a joyful and relaxing Christmas and New Year, and a fabulous 2025!

Huge congratulations to Slam Dunk Festival for winning at The Live Awards 2024.

The award - for Festival of the Year, feels like an endorsement of the massive amount of hard work put in by the Slam Dunk and LFX Teams to ensure that we learned the lessons from 2023, and even despite some horrendous weather at the North Site, this underlines the success of that effort!

Slam Dunk is one of our long-standing contracts & we've grown alongside the Festival... it's in our DNA and we couldn't be more chuffed!

LFX Summer '24 pt.10! Rock N Roll Circus - Sheffield 🎪🤹‍♂️🤸‍♂

It all got a little busy with Christmas Trail builds so forgot to shout about our last show of the Summer but by no means the least!

For the 2nd year our friends at AGN events took over the Don Valley Bowl for 3 awesome shows. This show really came to town as we saw incredible aesthetics, amazing circus performer and some wicked live acts. We were even honored with an appearance from a Greggs Bus!

Incredible things in the pipeline for 2025, so make sure you keep you're eye out. We've also got a Reel coming shortly too!

LFX Summer '24 Pt.9: DevaFest ⛺

A show we've taken a more prominent role in delivering Event Production and Campsite Management for this family festival.

We love working on family festivals as they really bring a community feel, with it being set in the gardens of Cholmondeley Castle in Cheshire, it is a wholesome weekend for everyone! With Ocean Colour Scene, The Human League and The Coral headlining and a massive variety of performances (including Bingo), funfair rides, comedy, circus, outdoor activities and stalls this really does have something for all the family,

Year on year, the festival grows organically with a high percentage of customers returning we are looking forward to working alongside the promoter, venue and suppliers to grow the event!

Keep an eye out for the Reel for this too as we try and capture the magic of it all (on a smart phone admittedly! 🤣)

LFX Summer '24 Pt.8 - Loosefest Presents: TrickFest & 90's Baby ⚡👩‍🎤

Up on the Town Moor in Newcastle, saw two days of the biggest DJ's and 90's pop artists, we were proud to deliver full Event Production for the 3rd year!

Every site has it's challenges and after a very wet 18 months, extra precaution had to be taken to maintain ground conditions and ensure the safe delivery of the event. Hats off to all our suppliers and staff who go the extra mile to make sure we deliver come rain or shine!

LFX Summer '24 pt.7: Live from The Yard

We delivered Event, Production and Technical Management for this new concert series in the City of Hull at the iconic Zebedee's Yard!

With a great lineup including Ocean Colour Scene, Razorlight and Ministry of Sound Classical over the 3 days, Hull really was treated to some brilliant shows!

With Calum Scott already confirmed for 2025, we're looking forward to being back at this cool venue!

LFX Summer '24 pt.6: Moovin' Festival 🐮

A new production for us this year, the lovely folk at Moovin Festival brought us in as the production grows bigger every year! And where better than on our doorstep in Stockport! From Site Production to Event Management it was great to showcase a few of the areas we deliver for our clients!

A boutique festival supported by the thriving Manchester Music Scene, this community driven festival really encapsulates why we all love our industry...

Onwards and upwards as we look forward to working again with the team to keep this production MOOOOOvin forward!

LFX Summer '24 pt.5: Live at Kirkstall Abbey 🏰

Alongside the Ludlow Castle show we were a bit further up North at the beautiful Kirkstall Abbey producing another run of shows for our friends at Futuresound.

With a run of 3 shows including Embrace, Madness and an all new comedy show including Katherine Ryan & Ross Noble, the people of Leeds we're treated to a wonderful weekend of live entertainment!

Another stunning setting to deliver a wicked show! We do love our job ❤

LFX Summer '24 pt.4: Live at Ludlow Castle 🏰

Returning for it's 2nd year with a increased capacity, stage size and structures to facilitate the upscale and a more premium VIP experience, all within the confines of this stunning Grade 1 listed Castle...Oh we do love a challenge!

With some incredible artists including Elbow, Madness, Anne-Marie and James, this really is a spectacle for the locals of Shropshire...

Lot's of surpises to come for 2025 but before that keep an eye out for our highlight Reel!

LFX Summer '24 pt.3: Fan City, Sheffield ⚽

What a pleasure to bring Fan City to the heart of Sheffield, showing the Euro 2024 competition. What a tournament and once again it so nearly came home!

These events naturally have their moments but this is where we come into our own as a safety led Event Production team leading on operations and crowd management...

LFX Summer '24 pt.2: University of Birmingham 🎓

Another of our long-standing clients, University of Birmingham & Guild of Students, University of Birmingham entrust us to deliver their Graduation Ball, Student Run Festival ValeFest and the University's EOY student activation 'UoB Xtra'.

Some brilliant shows over the course of June, not without it's challenge's after having to move sites in the weeks running up to the shows, with ourselves, our clients and suppliers pulling together as the show must go on (and noone was any the wiser!)

We look forward to seeing the next edition of graduating students on their beautiful campus!

LFX Summer '24 pt.1: Slam Dunk Festival & Live at Leeds🤘

After a busy few months we wanted to showcase what we've been up to this summer, so here is the first (and biggest) show of our summer. What a crazy couple of weeks experienced at both Temple Newsam & Hatfield Park

With massively contrasting weather, some major challenges were experienced in Leeds but ultimately with incredible collaboration & support both shows were extremely successful with a lot of happy (and some wet) customers!

With 2025 sales off the chart we are expecting an even bigger and better year to come. Huge love to our friends , & everyone else we were lucky to work with!
