Due to being on my own for set ups most weekend I’m cutting down on some props/backdrops.

I could of hired out Peter every single weekend this year but due to working alone I could not set up. I can discuss what I’ve previously charged if interested. Easy money maker for some one with a van at weekends 😍

Peter is sadly first to go as it requires a van to move and two people to move the panels.

Delivery is available. Everything pictured included except the fresh veg.

Sooooo, to customers old and new (and future, I hope)

A huge Thank-you to everyone who’s supported us over the last (almost) 3 years. I’ve met some amazing people I now call friends along the way.
I’ll cut to the chase, I’ve been given an opportunity which I couldn’t refuse to go back into working in pharmacy which surprisingly I’ve missed.

This doesn’t mean Something Borrowed is closing before the rumour mill starts! It does mean however, I won’t be taking on as much work as I usually do over the weekends. Bookings will come on a first come first served basis and I’ll be opening my books from now on 3 months before events.
Bank holidays will now hold an additional charge for bookings going forward.
From May the 1st my diary will open until the end of July. From June the 1st the diary will be open until end of august…. I’ll post first of every month as a reminder.

Collection items/bookings are available at any time. DIY items such as chair covers, easels, baby blocks, charger plates etc can be booked years/months in advance I can arrange a collection time to suit your around my working hours.

This is not a decision I’ve taken lightly but having Monday-Friday to do nothing really can mess with your emotions when most your friends work a 9-5 and you hardly see anyone when you work all weekend.

Loving the welcome signs at the moment, easily one of our popular set ups at the moment, affordable and really make a room more personal for events.

Styled here at baby shower on Saturday at The Lingholm Kitchen & Walled Garden at portinscale, one of my favourite venues for smaller events such as baby showers and the afternoon tea is to die for 😍

We offer a delivery/setup option or can be collected yourself from us and the easel can be returned the next day. They fit in most cars with the seats down 🥳

Set up done yesterday for Thomas’ surprise party for his 30th.

Organised by his girlfriend Stephanie she asked for a rustic backdrop to match the beautiful rustic light up numbers supplied by Bella Luna Events 😍 we discusssd the limited space we had to work with due to amount of guests and decided on small balloon clusters rather than one larger garland, styled in a range of greens and fresh tree cuttings to finish off the outdoor theme.

It only seems five minutes since we were planning Emma’s baby shower when pregnant with Ivy. Cannot believe she’s now 2 and what better way to celebrate than to be christened.

I’m so sorry for late responses of messages I genuinely feel like I’ve been hit by a bus and slept a ridiculous amount since Sunday and now tested positive for covid.

This obviously means I’m going to have to let people down this weekend and I’ve been crying my eyes out over it all morning.

This is my worst nightmare, my livelihood, it’s Mother’s Day and my little girls got it too now, she’s missing a family wedding on Saturday and I’m missing my nephews party this weekend too now and to top it off I feel like death warmed up.

I don’t go to work, I don’t get paid it’s that simple so please be kind.

There are some amazing balloon people in the area. Who I’ll try tag in the comments below.

All deposits will obviously be refunded in full.

I’m so sorry for anyone I’ve had to let down, I can’t begin to tell you how guilty I feel. 😭
