Loved creating this free-standing floral arch for E&D yesterday to frame their ceremony at the stunning . This was then moved by the ushers into the 'party barn' so they could continue to enjoy it throughout the reception. Completely foam free!

The fabulous eucalyptus hanging installation from V&A's wedding at the beautiful last weekend. Eucalyptus kindly donated by a family friend and swirled around a suspended antique cart wheel for a wonderfully wild impactful statement piece above the top table.

Need a little bit more floral fabulousness for your wedding day? Have a large 'blank canvas' marquee or barn to fill? Why not pop one of these beauties on the bar for your guests to admire while they're just chilling or waiting for a top up?

Had a problem and cheeky Instagran deleted this little video from my feed and I rather liked it so I'm sharing it again. 😊

Lovely day talking to couples yesterday at the Best of Local Wedding Fair in Crowborough and meeting other lovely suppliers. I love doing a wedding fair because I get to play around with the designs and make whatever I like! 😁 This was a profusion of Spring fluff with some incredible flowers from and also locally sourced from whose tulips and narcissus attracted compliments all day.

My little girl, Florence, looking particularly angelic modelling a flower crown for me. ❀ Better than the pouts and peace sign selfies she seems to favour these days. πŸ˜†

There is a hint in the air of Spring coming. I have spent a very enjoyable afternoon digging out the compost heap. Not the most glamorous job in the garden admittedly but so satisfying getting that new delicious crumbly soil out the heap that started as piles of cutting back, weeding, swept up leaves and all the detritus of the garden year. Recycling it back onto the flower beds to feed the plants for the following year. Looking forward to picking home-grown flowers to supplement my designs like these sweet little forget-me-nots adding a splash of blue. πŸ’™

My Christmas cloud hovering over the dining table. And some pretty little wintery arrangements for a little Christmas party last night. The garish Christmas tree covered in alllll the multi colour decorations and precious things the kids have made is right behind me but if I stand here I can imagine my christmas decorations are all this tasteful. Maybe one day.

Christmas mantle is up! Whoop!
One of my favourite things to do at Christmas time is decorate our mantle piece with a massive over the top concoction of floral Christmas foliage winter wonderfulness. I had a very wet forage walk on Monday. Fortunately Husband came along to help carry as we trekked across the countryside in the pouring rain with armfuls of soggy twigs and braken. That is commitment to one's art. πŸ˜„ My new favourite thing is dried rose-bay-willow-herb fluff. The gold eucalyptus is left over from last years mantle and I did treat myself to the white asparagus fern. This usually stays up well into the Spring when it comes down to make way for a more Spring-y display. Hope your decorating is coming along. πŸ’š

Allll the Autumnal texture. ❀
Beautiful rich tones, dried grasses and seed heads combine to make this bouquet a textural feast. Locally grown zinnia, rudbeckia, dahlias, achillia and amaranthus. Dried materials grown or foraged by me. Finished with a natural-dyed silk ribbon. This bouquet has an incredibly low carbon footprint. If you'd like a sustainable wedding please speak to your florist about how you can achieve this through your flowers. πŸ’š
