Trowbridge Civic Dinner, an old cinema look - the sequel to last years theme.

Stacks of festoon, drapes, uplighters and table spots and some rejigging of props made by us last year… another superb event celebrating Trowbridge and raising funds for charity, with us also sponsoring a table.

With Paul still on a selective sick note a massive thanks to Charlie and Mark for pressing the buttons on the night, and the wonderful Civic team of Poppy, Liv & Ian for working with us once again.

Whilst we may of been exceptionally quiet online for a few months we’ve been anything but quiet with festive, weddings and party lighting in real life.

Creating a Moulin Rouge theme for the Civic Trowbridge was one of Decembers indoor events… drapes, stage lighting, festoon, table spotting ( changes to white once the guests are in! ) and a custom sign and entrance build…





We’ve been out this evening to light both Melksham Town Hall and Trowbridge Civic Centre ready for remembrance.

More Lamp 💡 changes this time for Melksham Rugby Club, and then off to the Skate Park to look into some repairs on the lighting there - back in the van just as the first claps of thunder and torrent of rain appeared!

A Fairy light canopy, uplighting and some outdoor lighting in the the colour theme at the beautiful for our friends Martin & Ellen… very much winging it as this was the first time we had walked through the doors so we had no idea what was possible with a van of bits and a few hours.

Such a lovely venue, staff and views for miles.

It’s rare for us to be anywhere near the weddings we help create so it was great to see an amazing day draw to a close with another stunning musical fireworks display by our friends at Distant Thunder Fireworks

Another trip to the lovely Shrivenham Memorial Hall, we installed a 3 swag fairy light canopy, festoon on wooden poles to the courtyard area and white uplighting inside and out.

All of our Fairy light and Festoon canopies are always fully dimmable via a simple fader, meaning you can have full brightness all day and lower the light levels whilst maintaining the look for the party as the daylight fades!

A stunning garden setting for this wedding last month, with us lighting the trees as a backdrop to the main and disco marquees, Festoon to the entrance way, uplighting the house and Festoon boundary to both marquees… inside a Mirror Ball in the Disco tent and simple superior quality discreet speaker package with radio mic for the speeches.

We even make an effort to make our working lights for the catering tent look great!

Today is international overdose awareness day.

We’ve lit Melksham Town Hall and Market Place once again in support and to help raise awareness.

The outreach team from Connect Wiltshire are outside melksham Town Hall between now and 3.00pm, Pop along to find out more about the services they have on offer, or if you or someone you know has been effected by overdose.

Back to June and this incredible wedding in the grounds of the family home, several hundred meters of Festoon, fairy lights and uplighters creating a magical backdrop to the Marquee wedding and a walkway back for the end of the night.

Huge dimmable festoon canopy, Mirror Ball and party lighting alongside a discreet but punchy PA system for speeches and background music in the Marquee.

We looked after all the boring bits like power distribution from the supplied generator across the large site, safety lighting and spent ALOT of time routing cables the best way rather than easiest, as always, to ensure everything looked amazing.
