This is Charley. Charley wanted a fantastic wedding. Here she is, having a whale of a time, with her guests having the absolute time of their lives, because, you know, Charley actually thought about her entertainment. Smart move, Charley!

Charley booked me for the full day, hosting and coordinating the musical entrances, making sure everything flowed perfectly. Don’t be one of those who looks back and regrets not having the right entertainment. Trust me, plenty do. But not Charley. She nailed it. So, do yourself a favour - be like Charley 👌

🔔 August is always wild. The busiest, bonkers, Red Bull-fuelled month of the year has officially arrived. Back-to-back weddings and a few private events are in the diary 🙌

There’ll be a ton of prep and planning behind the scenes to make sure every wedding day runs like magic (pun fully intended), and heaps of travelling in between

Then it’s go time — bringing the energy, the laughs, and the magic to every wedding and event… all while dodging very original “can you make him disappear?” requests, devouring 3 course meals in between entertaining, raiding the sweet cart when no one’s looking, and gracefully handling drunk guests who definitely know how that trick was done 🤥

Throw in last minute changes and requests and we're onto a winner 😂

The last few months have been busy, and September’s looking full-on too — but August? August is always on another level!

Can't wait to see amazing couples and top wedding suppliers along the way 👋

TWELVE YEARS AGO TODAY, I left the safety of full-time employment and leapt head-first into the unpredictable world of being a full-time magician 🙌

I’d spent five years before that performing at events alongside my day job, until I finally took the plunge and made magic my full-time gig.

Over the last 12 years, there have been some incredible highlights that have made the leap more than worth it:
- Picked up a few shiny awards, including ‘Best Wedding Entertainer in the UK’ (twice!), and somehow ended up as a judge

- Performed at over 1,000 weddings and hundreds of corporate events and parties across the UK and Europe

- Met some unbelievable people - amazing suppliers and fabulous couples, some of whom started as clients and are now lifelong friends

- And yes, I’ve kept my flawless record of Employee of the Month…every single month…at Luke Howells Magician. Still undefeated. 🏆

It’s not always been smooth sailing - it’s long hours, there’s pressure, a lot of travel, and you’re wearing all the hats - but I genuinely love it. I get to be part of some of the most important days in people’s lives, doing something I’m passionate about. And for that, I’m massively grateful.

Here’s to chasing dreams, taking risks, and never underestimating the power of a little sleight of hand and a bit of cheeky banter.

Weddings are always an honour to entertain at, but when it’s for someone you went to school with? That hits different 🙌. Yesterday I had the honour of performing at Michael and Philippa's wedding. Michael and I go way back - school mates and then we worked together as lifeguards over 15 years ago!

I kicked things off during the drinks reception - breaking the ice, bending minds, and watching people try to pretend they weren’t completely fooled 😜. It was so lovely to see so many familiar faces from school - it had been 18 years since I had seen some of them! Then later, I wrapped up with a special show just for M&P 🪄.

Something’s definitely in the air! Taken a heap of bookings in the last week for 2026 & 2027 weddings! Bring them on 💪🏼

I'm ready to bring the magic, the banter and the energy that gets everyone involved and wishing every wedding they'd been to was as good as yours 😉

However, I’ve had to turn away some new enquiries and some who enquired before, came back to book me, and found I've since been booked...I hate disappointing couples! Sadly, I haven’t mastered cloning myself yet!
