Sorry we have been a bit quiet but what a manic two weeks it’s been !
1,300 miles driven 8 different venues, 5 different hotels, full range of delivery from coach education sessions, assessing and assessor training, presenting and army team coaching.
Somehow managed to also squeeze in the beautiful Oakring boy’s festival finals 👏🥂where they put up a great fight and tried so hard. But I won’t lie, a little disappointed with my own performance and so didn’t achieve a secret goal I had set for myself, but to be in the top ten in massive classes on the stunning Santino in both his finals is so consistent and simply fantastic ! We seem to have split the judges as he was in podium place in both tests with two judges but not the 3rd judge 🙈 his older brother D’Arcy was just an absolute delight to ride but just a bit outclassed this time.
The last few weeks have not been the most ideal preparation for this championship , but all great fun and love my horses so much and the Oakring brothers had a fab day out and that’s all that matters.
Now in Scotland for the next big adventure ……watch this space 👀
