Are you ready for a challenge in 2024?
When seeing certain yoga poses, I always used to think that my body would never get there.
I remember my first yoga class when I wanted to walk out because I have seen all the people around me doing all these random things whilst they were on the mat.
But then I also knew that yoga brought me so much more than a physical practice, it brought this calm feeling for me and me being a person who is on a go and used to have many anxious thoughts and panic attacks, it was a huge thing for me. I finally found something where my mind could switch off.
My mat is my nurturing place, where I learn, cry, release, and connect with myself. So you see, with practice, patience, and determination , I have learnt how to do certain poses (and I don’t know them all), I never thought I would do.
What I am trying to say when you see someone practising differently, don’t compare yourself to them, focus on your own journey and practice. But remember to try and get out of comfort zone, as it’s easier sometimes to say ‘I can’t do it’ rather than ‘One day, I will get there’.
Come and join me on the mat this week👇
