Put your expensive candle in the cupboard. Spring has produced a better scent! 🌿

These scented Narcissi are my highlight of spring and unlike your average Daffodil they pack one hell of a punch when it comes to scent, filling the room with a beautiful heady aroma.

These are available for collection from the farm stand.

Mother’s Day 💐

A big thank you to everyone who’s ordered their Mother’s Day flowers from us this year. Many of you will have already received your blooms and I have lots more to deliver tomorrow too, so don’t worry if you were hoping to receive some as there’s still time!

I’ll be out delivering tomorrow morning but I’ve made sure the farm stand will be stocked with flowers in my absence should you need some gorgeous blooms.

Hi all, Mother’s Day is nearly here - just one week to go! Thank you to everyone who has pre-ordered their flowers, subscriptions and gift vouchers already!

I’ll be closing the order books very soon but I’ve planned to have a few flowers available from the farm stand for anyone wanting to grab a bunch as they pass but please be aware these will be very limited.

The pre-order is still live and we have the following available for you to order:

It’s official, wedding season starts tomorrow! 🥂✨

I have a studio full of beautiful blooms and I’ve been busy beavering away today creating the most beautiful Spring inspired designs for my bride and groom. These are just some of the gorgeous flowers I’ve been working with today and it feels great to get back on the proverbial floral horse.

The diary is filling up fast for this year and 2026 but I do have availability still if you’re in need of assistance with your wedding flowers but don’t leave it u til the last minute as I hate having to turn couples away.

Flowers have been flying out today and we’ve been busy beavering away making up tomorrow’s deliveries and collections. If you’ve visited the studio before you’ll know just how big it is and we currently have flowers running the full length of it!

✨Galentine’s Day Workshop 💐✨

Tag your friends and come join us this Galentine’s Day to celebrate friendship and what’s even better is it comes with fizz and flowers!

In this class we will enjoy a little fizz (non-alcoholic options are available), create flower crowns and hand-tied posies, which you can then take home afterwards. No experience is necessary as expert tuition will be given on the day.

✨ Valentine’s Day ✨

Can you believe there’s just four weeks until Valentine’s Day? This is your early warning to book your flowers now. Pre-order is now open with options to collect your flowers or for them to be delivered on the day ♥️

As with every year, I’ll be creating gorgeous florals (all of which are now on the website) and this year’s design will be different to last year as we like to keep things fresh. I also have some amazing workshops coming up this year and these make for great gifting ideas too. In fact, if you want to celebrate your friends, instead of your other half, I also have a Galantine’s: Fizz & Flowers workshop in the diary for the 13th February! 🥂💐

Apologies if it seems early but I post about this every year, despite posting time and time again, I find myself bombarded by phone calls on Valentine’s Day asking for flowers. This is now the time to send this post to your significant other to ensure they’re well prepared.

I’ve not done an intro post since 2021 and I thought now was as good a time as ever to say hello.

I’m Ryan and I’m the owner of Bloom by Ryan Lewis, a floral design studio located on my farm in a little village called Blackbrook, on the borders of North Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire. My business is entering in to its 7th year - I honestly don’t know where the time has gone!

I’m a bit different to many florists in that as well as being a florist I also grow cut flowers for my customers and often grow specific blooms for specific events. My work incorporates weddings, funerals, events, selling flowers from the farm gate and delivering bouquets and posies locally. In the growing season I use as much of what I grow here on the farm as I can and I absolutely love what I do.

I also run workshops from the studio here on the farm in a space I often call Bloom HQ, a custom made 50ft space which accommodates small groups very comfortably. We have a fantastic schedule of events for 2025 and all dates are now on the website (link in bio). I’m looking forward to seeing new and returning faces this year.

When I’m not creating or growing gorgeous florals I can usually be found on the farm with the animals or at my local tennis club playing tennis. I’m also a keen reader (book recommendations always welcome) and this year I’m aiming to finish writing my first book which I hope to get published 🤞🏻. I turned 40 last year and I have a list of things to do in my 40th year which I’m part way through. I’ve already climbed Snowdon, attended the U.S. Open Tennis, raised a bit of money for charity, and won a tennis final (at last!), amongst a few other things, but there’s still a lot to be achieved and I’m very excited to get them done.

Welcome to Bloom by Ryan Lewis, a flower farm and artisan floristry company based in Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire on the borders of Cheshire and Shropshire. We supply the surrounding area for all floristry requirements whether it be a small bouquet for a friend or family member, weddings, sympathy flowers, events or wholesale services. We also offer services throughout the UK for weddings and events and run regular workshops throughout the year.

We use as many of our homegrown blooms as possible in all of our arrangements to reduce the need for imported flowers and foliage, although this will vary based on the season. All of our produce is grown without the use of pesticides and herbicides, meaning there will be nothing nasty in your designs, and we only use biodegradable and recycled products for decoration and packing.

Using the no-dig method of growing, all of the goodness that goes in to producing our blooms comes from homemade compost, manure from the farm and homemade comfrey and nettle teas. Pest control comes in the form of what nature provides - ladybirds, hoverflies and mini beats, although the chickens tend to see to the slugs and snails!
