If 2026 could stop throwing plot twists at me, that’d be great...

Hello May, and goodbye to the absolute chaos that’s been following me around 2026 👋🏻

To give you a flavour of last week alone:
• the shower screen fell off the wall
• the chimney cowl has disappeared into the abyss
• the van broke down

I’m choosing to leave the bad vibes behind and start fresh, so here’s the plan:
1. Write it down & let it go - I’ve written out every bit of chaos from this year and I’m burning it.
2. Fresh start - windows open, house reset (well,as much as a Mam with a toddler can manage), candles on (IYKYK).
3. Make a plan - Back to treating my home like a business. Action plan incoming… and yes, my bestie/personal assistant is involved 🤣

I’ve checked my astrology AND my Chinese zodiac and apparently the vibes are finally in my favour. Thank goodness 🙏🏻

May is a busy month for us with celebrations, so I’m hoping all the lovely moments top up our very depleted cups.

What are you letting go of as we step into May?

If you’re also in a tough season right now, please know:
❤️ You’re not alone
❤️ You’re loved
❤️ You’re enough

Brighter days are coming,

The last 6 weeks have been a rollercoaster; grief, change and everything in between. Real life asking for my full and undivided attention.

Getting caught in a sudden storm on Sunday, plodging home absolutely drenched with a toddler on my hip and seeing this rainbow felt like the reminder I needed that things will get better, and everything will pass. Storms don’t last forever. The sunshine always finds its way through.

"Theres no such thing as bad weather, only bad gear"

Part 3 onwards of my GenAI meal planning series are scripted and ready to record, and I'll be back very soon.

If you’re navigating your own storm, I see you. Brighter days are coming 🌈🌞

Hello April... and good riddens to March.

I'm normally a very positive person, but its been a REALLY challenging sh*tstorm of chaos the last couple of weeks, and I'd probably run out of characters if I tried to summarise it. For a change, I'm really quite lost for words (not sure thats ever happened before 🤣), especially positive ones.

I've felt so grateful for my routines, keeping a steady ship in the choas, as I'm pretty much running on 🍄 (AD) 🍄 .drinks (AD - ) or 👩‍✈️ auto-pilot

One routine in particular I've been eternally grateful for is my GenAI meal planning - if you've been following along, the rest of the series will be up as soon as my camera man (aka Mr W) is well enough to film me, as he's super sick and currently has a chest infection.

Using GenAI (correctly) really takes the mental load out of the decision making, and if you're not using it already (or if you treat it like a search engine) then PLEASE take a few moments to watch the series, which I hope inspires you on how to get started with AI.

Its navigated me through a couple of heavy decisions this month, while I've been too overwhelmed to make an informed choice - and not just with food! The van is running on borrowed time, and its really helped me make a decision on what to do.

Normality will resume soon but at the moment I'm prioritising health, family and taking a little break to appreciate them both 👩🏼‍❤️‍💋‍👨🏽👧🏼🐶

And with that, please enjoy your Easter, spend time with your loved ones and hug everyone a little tighter please, you never know whats around the corner ❤️

Jo-Anne 😘✌️

Hello March! What a beauty you've been so far!! 🌞

February has been super productive; we've decluttered, launched my new website and I feel on top of things (for the time being 🤣🙈).

🐶 Ted's almost at the end of his steroids, his appertite is dropping and he had minimal weight gain since his check up so we're really pleased. Now to start upping his exercise and dropping his diet. His goal this year is to drop 5-7kg which was impossible on steroids.

👧🏼 Amelia got her last molar, decided potty training isn't quite for her (thank goodness) and cracks us up with all the little things she picks up - the latest one was "I'll do it myself" 🤣

👩‍❤️‍👨 Me and Mr W are changing some of our habits and supplements to focus more on gut health - more to come in time on this one!

💰 Christmas 2026 savings challenge is on track - the decluttering has really helped to contribute to this alongside a nice withdrawl from the Christmas shopping.

🚐 The camper passed its MOT with ZERO work, so that means we can plan a summer of fun things

📋 I've been using a new approach to task management, more to come on that this month but so far I feel more productive and energetic!

What to expect in March🌷
- Christmas savings challenge update and ideas
- Tips on how to be more productive
- Simple systems for busy Mam's

Decluttering - sometimes you set out to wipe a computer and recycle it, sometimes you find some joy for your toddler 🤷🏼‍♀️

You win some, you lose some

She's spent ages today bashing the keyboard and being happy and that's all that matters. It will recycle another day 🤣

🥳 The new website is LIVE 🥳

The website was getting a bit tricky to navigate thanks to my scattered thoughts so its had itself a little glow up and is now LIVE

LOTS of new content to come and some placeholders for blogs (and images 🙈)

Hopefully you find it much more user friendly, I've archived quite a lot of things, reshuffled some content and hopefully it feels much better to navigate

Drop me a comment if theres something you'd love me to cover 👇🏼

Feels like 10 million years since I saw a blue sky 🤣

A long grey January was good for one thing... decluttering!

When you have a little one its amazing what you accumulate in such a short space of time. We've been chipping away bit by bit, and chucking all the declutting into our campervan bag by bag.

Tonight I've brought it all inside to sort and get rid of over the weekend while the van goes for its MOT. I can't believe how much we've accumulated its incredible how much stuff you can get rid of in small pockets of time 🤯

Over the years I've tried and blogged about many different ways to declutter, but if you're easily overwhelmed, having a dedicated space to store it all for another day and attacking small spaces, bit by bit, is a great way to do it.

Over the weekend it will be going into 4 piles
1. Charity
2. Vinted and Marketplace
3. Dump
4. Recycling

By sorting and getting rid of everything in one go I have fewer trips to make to get rid of it all and I can batch upload to vinted or marketplace, without the overwhelm of decluttering AND disposing at the same time

Have you tried this way of decluttering before?

Hello February!

January was so grey and gloomy, its been great motivation to stay indoors and get things done!

🐶 Ted's almost finished his treatment plan and getting his spark back; its so nice to see him running and playing again!

👧🏼 Amelia is thriving, coming out with the funniest phrases and ready to start potty training (before we are 🫠)

👩‍❤️‍👨 Inspired by the Lunar new year, Me and Mr W have been on a mission to declutter. The camper van is LOADED with things to donate and sell already. Expect some vinted bargains to be listed.

📋 I've been super busy behind the scenes setting up a new site, writing content and product testing (launching later this year). I've had great feedback from product testers so far and I'm so excited to share it with you.

🧘🏼‍♀️ Its been so busy I've taken an unplanned break from socials and its been so nice to be away from my phone screen

What can you expect in February:
🚀 New website launch - with clear navigation, quicker reads and actionable real life advice
🗑 Decluttering tips
💰 Idea's to put "free" cash into your Christmas (yes I know its February) or Summer Holiday savings pot
💡 Tips to get all you busy / adhd mam's out there organised in 2026.

Hello January, Hello 2026... here's to a year of change!

🏡The house is almost back to normal, routine is starting to come back and I'm rested & ready for the new year.

🌟My 13 wishes are out in the universe, I have my wish to work on and its a good one ❤️

🎅I've reflected on Christmas, and put in some work to make next year easier (and cheaper) for myself. The savings pot is open and ready to go. I'm challenging myself again this year to hustle and declutter my way to pay for Christmas as it was so good last year even if things got a bit busy and I fell short on my £1000 target.

🥫While we've been off, I've taken time to restock the freezer with food prep essentials like prepped veg, mash & roasties (thanks to supermarket 5p veg) and my Wright Lazy tomato sauce (check the recipe out on my website) - prepping in advance is one of my best adhd hacks to make sure theres a nutritious meal on the table every day.

🤓For Organised Wright, we'll be moving to a new website again this year (pray for me 🤣) so this will give me a good opportunity to clear some dead wood.

📋 I'm testing out a couple of new things to keep myself organised this year;
1. NEW OW planner - Currently very personal but if it works I'll release it. I'm hoping the print on demand style helps me stick to it for more than a few months
2. Subscription - I don't normally subscribe to things but this has already added value in the trial period that I'm kepping it on for a few more months at least.
3. Using Jira and Confluence by - a project management product I use in the day job, but its free for small user groups so we'll see how we get on. Quite excited to use it more.

So with that, here's to 2026. May it bring us all good health, wealth and happiness 🍾
