Hello July 🌞

June started with Ted having an operation (which went well) to remove a broken tooth and have some investigative xrays on his shoulder to understand why he was limping and some home reorganisation. We dismantled and stored the cot, and got rid of baby jail 🥹 as Amelia's climbing was starting to make things unsafe. We created a montessori style open play area for her uning Ikea Kallax. We also picked up some new utility storage while we were there, thats really been a game changer.

Ted then took a dip in his recovery period with a fever which stalled progress around the house. We've chipped away at our decluttering, focussing on things Amelia had outgrown and the last few letters of the Alphabet Decluttering.

We didnt manage to get any more of our outdoor chores done cos every time we tried ☔️ it rained 🤣

I started my Christmas shopping this month for Amelia, I'll update my highlight but I picked up some toy sale bargains which I'll store in a box in the loft

July promises to be a bit calmer... we're not giving ourself any pressure, we're going to take a few van trips and book another holiday for later in the year. Amelia is confidently walking and talking now so we're just embracing the carnage each day.

We're restarting the alphabet decluttering this month and I cant decide whether to randomise it, or go in order again - let me know what you think in the comments below 👇

💙 Happy 7th Birthday Ted 💙

I remember the day we met you and you fit in my arms, the day we collected you I cried about the day you might leave us and cuddled you all the way home, slept on the sofa so I knew you were safe... the first time I left you alone and I cried walking around Tesco watching you on camera cos you were so upset... and it all feels like only yesterday. You were there for our engagement, our wedding and so so much more. Some days I wonder how I would have got here without you.

We love you so much, we hope you had the most amazing day x

Hello June!!

May is always so busy and mental, its really nice to stop and take a breath now that its June.

We started by clearing some bits in the garden, planting potatoes (a bit later than we should), and organising our wood pile. Amelia had a great time playing in the sand and water, I directed Mr W jnr and Snr from a distance, to avoid the huge spiders 🤣

The rest of the month we're planning to spend as much time in the garden organising and tidying as possible. Weather permitting, this summer we're hoping to organise the shed, do some jet washing, seal the patio, fix the fence, install a gate and maybe... just maybe... paint the fence and breeze blocks. Pretty optimistic, but lets see how summer goes. It would be nice to look out onto something tidy.

We've got some home organising and upgrades to do now Amelia is firmly on 2 feet, out of her cot and onto the temporary floor bed.

We've also got some trips planned in the van around the cricket season so we'll also be doing a few little changes to the camper van to make it a bit more comfy for life as a family of 4.

Ted has an op tomorrow to remove a broken tooth so we're going to make a start on something, depending on the weather 🤞

Hello May! This month started off so amazing, watching our friends get married in Paphos, Cyprus 🥰 it was the most beautiful day!

Amelia was amazing on the plane both ways, her speach has come along amazing while we were away and she's started connecting words like "I'm stuck" 🤣 and now wants to walk everywhere! 🫠

May's a busy month for us so I'm going to use our first few days back getting organised and up to date.

What does being organised mean to you? For me it means spending more time doing things we love, like spur of the moment family walks in the sun, making memories

You know spring is in full swing when you can smell the wild garlic in the woods 🌱 was lovely to get outside today without being in 50 layers and needing the rain cover on the pram. We even got the suncream out 😎🌞

Hello April, spring flowers and sunny days 💐🌞

We're up to 11 teeth, with the final molar on its way. We're walking with more confidence, talking non stop and the tantrums are only just beginning 🫠

This month has been a rollercoaster of emotions and discovery. We've decluttered and rearranged, we've not added much to the christmas pot but spring cleaning is in full swing so I'm confident we can stay on track. Theres plenty to work on still 🫡

Summer is just around the corner, brighter days are coming and with them hopefully more adventures for the memoy book, which is more important than any bank balance or tidy room 🥰

Mothers day was super special, I'm so blessed to be able to celebrate this with both my mam, my mother in law and my little miracle. She teaches me more lessons than I can ever give her thanks for... my only wish is that she would let me sleep 🤣🙏🏻

Here's to a happy healthy spring, count our blessings and make the most of our days ❤️

Thank you for an amazing mothers day... a lie in, beautiful cards that made me cry, a cup of tea in bed, some me time to bake, a lush afternoon tea, family afternoon nap, and home to a lush Sunday dinner. Top Husband points for you Mr Wright ❤️

Hello March, and welcome the Spring vibes!

Today we spent some time at the beach and it felt so good to get some spring sun on our skin.

February brought us more disturbed nights, new teeth and a few baby steps! We're finding a good balance now between work and play, and its doing us all the world of good.

Decluttering and spring cleaning is going well too, we've raised over £300 towards our Christmas goal already and dare I say it... I've started picking up a few bits for Amelia already 🙈

We cleared up the garden, only to mess it up again with a chopped up tree.

The van finally passed its MOT - we're going to do some minor cosmetic changes ready for summer, but otherwise good to go!

The website has had a few updates, and hopefully more exciting content to come! I've started posting more on stories too and my goal is to get back to making reels in the very near future.

AI is really changing the game for me, both at home and work so its an exciting space to be working with right now...
