A Festival but Kendal wasn't Calling!
What should of been a weekend away in the Lake District having been thwarted due to the additional weeks of Covid restrictions alternative plans were made .....OK so lets set the scene....basking in soaring hot temperatures, dipping of toes in the pool, aroma of tantalising food, cocktail in hand whilst listening to live acoustic entertainment, forget Kendal Calling.... ladies welcome to "Ali-Fest"
Early morning late July a surburban garden was transformed into a festival setting complimented with teepee tents, lanterns, cushions, pallets, foraged greenery, glitter station with an existing bar and & pool equally flourished to accomodate the festival vibe.
The festival tribe were treated to a spot of cocktail making with a pop up cocktail bar service, the cocktail connoisseur was not called Tom but no other than Joe (That Bar Bloke ) who certainly knew his Tom Collins from his Shirley Temple.
As early evening approached the live entertainment commenced with the talented Jack Oscar () taking centre stage, with sundowners in hand this evolved into full festival etiquette with lots of dancing and singing with a huge burst of energy to the all time crowd please of 'Mr Brightside'.
Overall Ali-Fest was a fantastic day and night and I had great pleasure in capturing this chilled hen party.
Good Luck Ali x
