If only you could click your fingers and it be that quick in real life 😆 So much preparation goes into these set ups that isn’t seen on the day just like the set up in this video. But just because you don’t see doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist! - Design and visual preparation - ordering balloons, props etc. - Pre inflating as many balloons as possible that we’re able to transport! Saves sooo much time at the venue! - repainting / personalising sailboards and props - washing / cleaning / drying / preparing chair linen - then there’s the admin.. oooh the admin is my least favourite part 😂 trying to send messages and respond around the clock, being able to answer all queries but I do try my hardest to answer and work with clients to ensure everything is how they want it to be on the day and to make sure all arrangements are in place. And lots more on top of this.. think of the marketing, social media, travel, packing and the list goes on 😄. I LOVE it though! Why did we reuse the same balloons for a different event? After all the time and effort that goes into creating and installing your balloon displays, at the pack down and collection they really do just get popped and disposed of. This time we were kindly asked if we would donate the balloons for a 100th birthday celebration happening later that day! We said yes and, as a nice gesture, dismantled our props and balloons, reset the garland and reinstalled the balloons in a completely different way just like a fresh set up. I hope the special lady enjoyed her day as much as the wonderful woman did the evening before for her 60th! Funnily enough, the original booking whose party the balloons were from was actually at the venue having breakfast and was more than happy for her balloons to go to good use as well 🥰
