Behind The Scenes! Every 3 years we take our lining down and send it back to its makers in the South to get a wash and refurb. This is what the Marquee looks like when it is naked! This week the roof is coming off so that Collingwood Marquees can wash it for us. This is the first time the roof has been washed since we built the Marquee and we are interested to see how dusty it is! It might be hidden inside a barn but the roof still gets dirty. The tipi is getting taken down on Friday to move into it’s Winter home at the end of the barn and the canvas goes off for a clean and repairs. This all costs a BOMB but we are committed to giving our couples the best venue possible and our lovely staff a place they can be proud to work in. The schedule is very tight as it all needs to be ship shape and back up and running by the 18 November for our tasting Feasting night! Please get in touch if you haven’t already booked! We had a lovely lovely couple who were due to get married today .. between the Alpacas and all your musical guests we were really looking forward to it.
