Baubles are not only for in the tree this year, there are many other ways to used them to decorate the home. From filling big glass hurricane vases to hanging them on ribbons in the windows. Also using them in garlands is a great way to utilise the many shapes and colours.

My Story

Bringing my Love for Photography and Life style together with Light and Colour...

It is all about Life’s journey, My own journey and maybe Yours too. I am enjoying developing the areas of my life, that I knew were there, but had not zoomed in on. Photography has grown into a passion, yet it still felt not explored enough.

Then there are other areas of interest, things that excite me and I love to explore more too. The challenge is to bring them together to blend with my Passion. So this is my Story, to learn new things, take a journey of Self Discovery inside my beautiful Home and Family and outside among God’s beautiful Creation.

From Food in the Kitchen, Growing things in the Garden and Interiors inside our house and other people’s, who I had a chance to help, have all been part of my life while raising our 4 wonderful kids. The Home has been my place of work for the past 19 years. It is and has been my security and love. A true privilege to see our 3 boys and daughter growing up and to be part of their lives every day. Yet now they are becoming more independent I know I have to start doing things for Me, preparing for my next chapter. I am a little nervous and excited at the same time.

Courage, it takes courage to try new things, accept criticism, to grow in new ways and to put yourself out there. Still be myself and daring to stand out. I dream of becoming the better version of myself yet accept the flaws and weaknesses as much as the strengths. To celebrate others as much in their victories and achievements, however small. It is not about comparison, it is about being content with who I am and keep going in whatever dream I might have, what/who to be and loving myself and others on that journey. I have a wonderful husband, a supportive family and precious friends to be thankful for, who are cheering me on along the way, advising me, thinking with me and believing in me.

Destination, we might never really get there, but that is a good thing, it will spur me on to keep going, keep trying, keep dreaming and teaching my kids to keep believing too. Maybe the journey is the destination.

God made us all unique, so it is our responsibility to find out who we really are, made in His image, yet we are all full of surprises, uniqueness, character, talents and personality. It makes our world a wonderful place. We need each other, because we can’t do/be it all on our own. I hope my Story might inspire your Story.
