Where is the fun in life if you don't dream?

I've been coasting, doing 'what I can' for a couple of months and that's been ok, sometimes we need that!

BUT what I realised this week is I've also stopped dreaming. In that time I've not day dreamed, planned a holiday etc so I need to get back to being me!

We had a mid-week family wedding on Wednesday and it was wonderful, beautiful a true romantic fairy tale wedding.

I'm also looking forward to some structure and focus next week. But it's all about the balance, isn't it?

I want you to have the space to find fun in the big things like weddings, the important things like family and the every day things like your work.

Trying to prove something by doing it all yourself is like trying to go to bottomless brunch and come home sober.

It's pointless.
It doesn't matter.
Nobody cares.

Imagine your planning a wedding, you need a cake. It doesn't matter how the cake gets there, what matters is the couple love it, it tastes reasonably good and is in the right place at the right time.

What doesn't matter is if you hand made it, if you designed it yourself, if you spent hours planning and creating.

People want the cake. They don't want (or care too much) about the effort you've put in.

Stop blocking your own success.

It's pretty brave to do it. But also pretty limiting not to.

Stepping off the control freak carousel for a sec is that a scary thought?

I get it. I've done it!

You think letting go means chaos will ensue, but what if it actually meant fast tracking to the good stuff?

My Story

Ministry VA was born in June 2019 to support businesses and individuals with the tasks that take them away from having fun, reaching goals and getting back to what they love to do. I was very aware how much time the tasks in our family business were taking, so I took them away from my husband and we grew the business. When at risk of redundancy and on maternity leave I had time to think about how I could offer this to other people, we couldn’t be the only family out there who wanted more time together. So here we are.

I can support you to grow your business by taking away pain points, or even to fee up some of your spare time by supporting your ‘life admin’. So often, in and out of work, we are forced to do tasks that take up so much time or that we don’t have the skills to do. It doesn’t have to be that way.

I specialise in Learning and Development and events with over a decades experience would be more than happy to take things off your plate.
