Hello Instagram 👋🏻

It’s been a while! If you have followed me here for some time you may have noticed that things have been fairly quiet from me lately!

I would love to say it’s because I’ve just been super busy with dreamy wedding stationery (which there has been some of) but truth be told I have really limited the work I’ve taken on over the last 6months or so because I’ve seen a really huge shift in the wedding industry and it isn’t a shift I have loved!

I have needed to take a step back in order to assess how I want to move forward as a business owner in a way that makes me happy and fulfilled and also serves you lovely people in the best way possible!

So TLW is going to be changing over the next few weeks!

I will share more over the coming days but initially we will be shifting from a primarily luxury bespoke design studio to a more high quality but affordable studio!

Moving forward I want to reach more lovely couples and offer more pre-designed options, off the shelf options (especially for on the day stationery) and an easy streamlined process!!

Throw back to this gorgeous bespoke suite created for Hannah and Conor. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Showing how the small details can really elevate a simple and elegant design into something unique and memorable!

They chose a super simple all white card stock for their entire quite, enhanced with a beautiful oyster foil which on its own would have been stunning.

The suite was completed with a vellum wrap and personalised name tags - held together with a beautiful wax seal and dried babies breath detail.

A bold envelope liner and colour matched envelope took the overall presentation of their invite from pretty to perfect!

The perfect example of making the perfect first impression for your guests!

One of the most common mistakes I come across at the start of a couples stationery journey is the number of invitations you actually need. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​A common error is that you allocate one invite per guest which will have you stressing about your budget needing so many invitations!!

Here are some key tips to consider when you are planning how many invitations you need, allowing you to plan accordingly.

First up, you need 1 invitation per couple or household. This typically breaks down to be slightly over half the amount of your total guests.

If inviting a family with adult children, think adult cousins for example, any adults who live at a separate address should receive their own invitation.

Ordering spares - I would always recommend ordering a minimum of 10% extra invites for those last minute additions, keepsakes and of course one for your photographer to snap alongside your other keepsake items!

Client Spotlight Blog: A behind the scenes look into the brief and creation of one of my most requested designs! Blog post now live on the website (link in bio)​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Emma and Brian tied the knot back in 2021 ( after lots of postponing thanks to Covid) but wow was it a wedding worth the wait!

Emma was one of those effortlessly chic and elegant brides who knew what she wanted but couldn't quite translate her ideas into a design for her wedding invitations!

I had the pleasure of working with her to create this beautiful, bespoke suite which was pretty far from her original thoughts but exceeded her expectations ( and even wow'ed the priest - you'll have to read the blog for more on that)

The perfect monogram for a gorgeous Galway girl!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Alexandra and Anthonys Galway wedding oozed sophistication and their invitations gave their guests the perfect introduction!

This fully custom monogram was designed and created to be the centrepiece of this gorgeous invite suite and I think it looks pretty fabulous don't you?

It's a save-the-date time of year!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​If you have been wondering when is the perfect time to send out your save the dates for your 2024 wedding... it;s right about now!

I always recommend sending these out 8-10 months ahead of the big day so calling all Summer 2024 brides... it's time!

Some key benefits of sending these are:

- you can communicate the main information with your guests allowing them to plan time off or travel arrangements
- save some stress knowing all your guests know the when and where of your big day and enjoy the process of designing your dreamy wedding invitation!
- start the excitement for your guests with a dreamy first hint at what is yet to come!

When planning a memorable wedding celebration it’s important to consider the little things!

These three points should will ensure your guests are talking about your day long after the party is over!

1.) it’s PERSONAL - either a reflection of you or guest personalisation helps your wedding stand out from the norm!

2.) it is GUEST FOCUSED - we all know your wedding day is a celebration of your unique love, but your guests should be included and have some elements that are all about them! Food, drink and stationery are great ways to include your guests and make them feel extra special!

3.) they are UNIQUE - creating a unique feature or item that is different will have your guests talking about how amazing your day was! It doesn’t have to be huge, although… why not! Small touches, curated with care and attention to detail will help elevate your wedding from
“Just another wedding” to “the wedding of the year”
