Here is another easy pattern to follow for all our knitters.
The first photo shows flowers knitted from both patterns that have been posted - all of these were knitted on size 6mm needles with Aran, chunky and Super chunky yarns. I added centres to the ribbed poppy pattern before sewing the button as a centrepiece

Here is an easy one for those of you who are wanting to get started but need a pattern

In May 2022 we will be having a festival of flowers in Parracombe – and not just of the garden variety.

We are smothering St Petrock’s, garlanding gateways and bombarding the bridge with crafted flowers. At the end of May the place will be swamped by a tsunami of spring colour.

Our aim is to bring more people than ever before to visit St Petrock’s, a much-admired 11th century church, and to explore the village beyond.

If you can knit, crotchet or sew us some floral art, we would love to include it on our collage. There’s only one rule, and that’s the smallest diameter we need is 15 cm. Anything that size and above will help make our colourful cascades more vibrant and eye-catching!

Or you may prefer to donate wool or fabric to our current army of crafting volunteers.

Please like our page and PM to find out more. Thank you
