Hedging season is nearly upon us! We are now taking orders for bare rooted hedging. If you need to fill a gap in your hedge or re-plant a whole field, come and speak to us and we will make sure you get the right plants for your needs. We have an extensive range which includes native hedging, which is perfect for attracting wildlife. Visit the hedging page on our website for more information. Hedging will be available (weather permitting) from the end of November, through until March.

We will no longer be selling fresh flowers. Our usual selection of Christmas items will still be available and we are still making holly wreaths and door wreaths. If you need to send a gift, why not choose a house plant or a planted pot instead?
The rest of the centre remains open as usual.

We will be at this fantastic garden with our plant stall today! Quite a few of our plants have made it into this garden so it is lovely to be able to see them flourishing under Sue’s care and attention. It is well worth a visit 😊

GARDEN OPEN TODAY 10am -4pm. Light lunches and Afternoon Tea available. Plants for sale.
The garden is a kaleidoscope of colour at present and the fragrance that fills the air on a warm sunny day is delightful

We’re back again today at the lovely Thornton Hall. Come along to view their fabulous gardens and visit our plant stall.

Garden open today in aid of the NGS from 10am -4pm irises, peonies and lupins are a real joy at present and we even have a few roses starting to flower which seems very early compared to other years but then I guess it was the warmest May on record.
Light lunches and Afternoon Tes available in the Bowes tearoom also plants for sale
