**SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE ELVIS FESTIVAL 2020**

It is with a mixture of both regret and relief that we have to advise that the UK Elvis Festival at Vauxhall Holiday Park, Great Yarmouth has been cancelled. The regret is simply because we at Strictly Elvis UK/Elvis Travel Service were so keen to provide our fellow Elvis fans with yet another weeklong extravaganza of all things Elvis plus a superb selection of guests and great bands. The relief is that we have been so concerned about the Coronavirus/Covid19 pandemic which has already claimed far too many lives, and given worry and heartbreak to so many families that we felt we couldn’t take any risks whatsoever with your health. We had been hoping that by mid-September the crisis would have abated but we cannot now foresee that it will have; so with the old adage ‘Better Safe Than Sorry’ ringing in our ears we, together with Parkdean Resorts Vauxhall, decided that it is better to cancel.

All those booked will be contacted by Vauxhall within 21 days. Please don’t call them as their phone lines are already overloaded and the waiting time might be long. Be patient and they will call you with regard to refunds or transferring deposits etc to next year’s event. Or you might still want to spend a week (or perhaps just a few days?) at Great Yarmouth but without the Elvis Festival entertainment…if so they will sort that out for you too.

And as for the 2021 Elvis Festival? Well you can be sure that it’ll now be something Extra Special and we already have some fabulous Guests already signed up for you as well as a brilliant selection of bands and entertainment. Further details of that will be posted here over the next few weeks.
