This is what dbfb’s fantastic golf day achieved. Not only did everyone have an amazing day but they raised a huge amount of money which went to NGH’s radiotherapy centre waiting room. How fabulous!!!!

We very much enjoyed the whole event which we thought you organised beautifully. We really appreciate the work and effort you must have put into organising and the little touches including the boot bag, fruit and water were greatly received. The golf went well for us as a team and we didn’t let the weather affect our high spirits. This was evident when we completely destroyed the Pro on the 12th hole in front of the amazing Geoff Swain. On that note Geoff really made it an excellent day and he was so good spending time with us and being involved in some nice photographs. Also it was wonderful to see Peter Alyss in full splendour. The stories were very interesting and it did take me back to my younger days when I started watching the masters with my dad. His voice really is the voice of golf.
