✨ Christmas is coming…and our Christmas Cakes for 2024 are now LIVE to pre-order via our website! ✨

All of our cakes and desserts are available gluten free, dairy free, and vegan - or to suit whatever dietary requirements or allergies you may have. Everyone deserves to enjoy good food this Christmas!

All orders will be available for collection from either (Northwich) or (Holmes Chapel) on 21st and 22nd December.
Last orders by 15th December.

🫚CHRISTMAS GINGERBREAD LOAF CAKE
Homemade gingerbread sponge cake baked with our own blend of fresh gingerbread spices (cinnamon, ginger, clove, nutmeg and cardamom. Decorated with gingerbread bottle green, or Christmas red, and white buttercream. Displayed on a cake board and box. 4 day shelf life.
£40 (serves 6-8)

🇦🇷 ARGENTINE TIRAMISU
Our take on Argentinian Chocotorta. Indulgent chocolate cake soaked with espresso, layered with homemade dulche de leche caramel and mascarpone cream, with a dusting of cacao. A favourite from Abda’s time living in Buenos Aires. 4 day shelf life.
£35 (serves 8-10)

🧁 FESTIVE CUPCAKE BOX
Your choice of either gingerbread sponge cupcakes baked with our own blend of fresh gingerbread spices (cinnamon, ginger, clove, nutmeg and cardamom, or chocolate cupcakes. Decorated with gingerbread bottle green, or Christmas red, and white buttercream. Displayed in a cupcake box. 4 day shelf life.

We recently catered the most beautiful wedding at Sandbach Town Hall, with a full array of our homemade Sudanese and Egyptian dishes cooked entirely from scratch to our own family recipes.

We're delighted to be at Nantwich Food Festival with our friends this weekend, brewing up their new Dabber's Blend to keep you all caffeinated ☕️

We're also pleased to announce the start of our HALA Coffee Consultancy.
We've been running our coffee consultancy through for a couple of years now (helping other shops get the best out of their beans and brews, training baristas and hosting coffee tastings/barista experiences), but we're excited to be bringing it under HALA with a little rebrand, and spread our love and knowledge of coffee even further!

💙Yesterday's beautiful blue birthday cake 🎂

Wishing Clare a very happy 60th birthday 🎉

A chocolate orange bottom tier, with a lemon & raspberry top tier decorated with an ombre blue buttercream, swirls and gold leaf.
It was so fun to create a tiered cake with some colour!

🍫We have some NEWS to share... ✨

Our beloved chocolatier Claire is sadly leaving us, but we are excited to share the reason why is to begin her own journey into the world of crafting cacao, with her own business

As you may know, we have been a 3 woman team producing 'cacao, cake and cuisine' since we launched back in 2021, each specialising in a different aspect of the business, but it's always been a team effort (Soph cakes, Abda cuisine and Claire chocolate).
We have worked with Claire for over 6 years now, she has become a dear friend and we are so sad to see her go, but also wish her the best of luck with her new venture! Do not fear, once part of the family, always part of our family, so she will still be around 🫶🏼

On an exciting note, both of our shops and will be stocking Claire's new business !

And so we ask you…to please help us continue supporting Claire! All of the chocolates are completely handmade from scratch by Claire in the same way, just for her own business and with her own branding! We will be stocking plenty of vegan and allergy friendly options too, and are still able to offer corporate cacao and wedding packages in collaboration.

(Our remaining Hala Cacao stock is over at , but we will soon be stocking Confetti over there too).

🌙 EID MUBARAK ✨

Today marks the start of our Eid Al Fitr celebration, and so we would like to wish a happy Eid to all that are celebrating.

We have built all three of our businesses on inclusivity, and yet I have always been so afraid to share content like this on our pages. I have felt the band of inclusivity did not extend to my own culture and in particular, my religion. In all honesty, I am worried this kind of content would result in losing customers.

However, as we develop and grow, not only as teams across our businesses, but also as individuals, I want to continue to celebrate us all - including all current, past and future team members and customers.
I always push our teams to be unapologetically themselves, and I want to learn to do the same for myself.

♥️And so, with that in mind, I wish that this is a positive year full of happiness and love for all. Eid Mubarak 🫶🏼

🇸🇩 This period of time also marks a tough time for all Sudanese people, who yet again are not able to celebrate Eid with their families and friends in their homes, due to the war which broke out in Sudan a year ago now. I continue to ask all to keep eyes on Sudan.
