Happy February everyone 🩵✨ (We made it through January... phew!)

We're getting ready for Norwich Science Festival which returns this half term (15-22 Feb) with a packed programme of shows, talks, workshops, comedy and much more across the 8 days.

Throughout the Festival, our Atrium and outdoor heated marquee are transformed into The Explorium - a place for visitors of all ages to explore science through free, hands-on activities for all ages!

The Explorium is open every day during the Festival from 10am-4pm. Activities and exhibitors change each day, so there is always something new to explore!

**Café Bar Marzano & PizzaExpress Update**

Due to ongoing technical difficulties, PizzaExpress and Cafe Bar Marzano within The Forum will remain closed until further notice.

Take-aways are still available from PizzaExpress, including walk-ups.

DigiFest 2025 is almost here and we are VERY excited!

DigiFest is our annual celebration of all things technology. Each February we run a host of events for children and families, all with a digital twist. Stop Motion Animation, 3D Pen Workshops, Codable Robots - and more! Today is International Reducing CO2 Emissions Day. Here at The Forum we've implemented lots of changes, and continue to do so, to make the environment a priority across the work we do.

Some of the changes we've made so far include:

💡 95% of our lighting has now been upgraded to LED with the Atrium lighting being daylight reactive

🚗 We have reduced energy consumption in our car park by 80% by installing a smart LED lighting system

🚰 Our washrooms use FSC certified paper products and our new toilet facilities help to reduce waste water

♻️ Wherever possible, we print our marketing materials on recycled paper, and have reduced our print runs to reduce waste

🫧 We use eco-friendly cleaning products and refillable bottles.

We know we can always do more and are working with a sustainability advisor to look at further improvements to the way we run our organisation.

Catch BreakForth at the Cancer Conference at The Forum, Norwich on Wednesday 5th February.
With speakers from Macmillan Cancer Support, Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care System and the Farming Community Network.
There will be a wide range of important information available, such as; support services in Norfolk, mental health support, counselling and bereavement groups, cancer support and more.
Thanks to CAN (Community Action Norfolk) for organising the event.
The event is from 9am until 4pm, so make sure you head down to The Forum, Norwich to check it out!

With families and friends across the UK and Ireland enjoying Paddington’s latest adventure, Paddington in Peru, we're thrilled to announce that the City of Stories has been chosen as the home for the 24th Paddington statue.

Children, families and marmalade lovers will soon be able to perch on the bench next to him ♥️💙

His location and an unveiling date will be revealed soon 👀🍊

Norwich has been chosen as the home for a Paddington statue, and it’s all because so many of you emailed Studio Canal to tell them why Paddington should make the move to the Fine City.

Well done to the team at VisitNorwich, as well as our friends at The Forum, Norwich, Norwich City Hosts and Waterstones Norwich, who - alongside us - made a lovely video to help get people voting.
