THIS IS ME //

It’s been forever since I popped on the grid to show my face… so this is me, in our showroom, I’m Charlotte the face behind F&D!

I’ve been a designer and stylist for the best part of 20 years. I started my career in the fashion industry designing ladieswear for the UK high street, which I loved and was so grateful to travel the world with my work. Then following the arrival of my son, I took the plunge in 2017 and created Fine & Dandy.

I love all things weddings, and I am so passionate about what we do. I am known for a being a stickler for detail, and I won’t take no for an answer… I will always find a way! I love the creativity which Fine & Dandy brings, and I get so much enjoyment from collaborating with our favourite suppliers and venues to bring our couple’s wedding visions to life! 🤍 We are so excited to see what 2024 brings, and it’s always a privilege to be a part your beautiful weddings!

MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR DECOR //

Regardless of budget, we always recommend re-styling and re-purposing your decor and styling wherever you can throughout your wedding day. You and your guests are often only in one part of your venue at one time, so it makes sense to move items discreetly as you do. Easels can be re-used for different signage, plinths can be moved, and lanterns from your ceremony look great styled near your seating plan, cake table or in front of your top table. Work with your stylist, florist and venue to make the most of your decor!

IS THERE ANYTHING WORSE… //

than seeing a stunning bouquet (which your talented florist has put their heart and soul into making) thrown under a chair or plonked into a pint glass on the bar? You and your bridesmaids don’t want to be a carrying them around all day, so we always advise to hire bouquet vases, and style them around your venue. That way you will all have a designated place to keep them fresh, and you and your guests get to enjoy them throughout the day. Great places to style them are on the top table, cake tables, guest book tables, windowsills, and fireplaces. And if you’re styling your wedding on a tighter budget, bouquets make lovely low centrepieces.

And it’s not all about the morning of your wedding, don’t forget a venue stylist is worth their weight in gold the morning after the night before! 🥂🤕
