Deposits

Hello everyone just a friendly reminder to everyone that a deposit is necessary to secure your booking, I'm having a lot of dates with multiple parties interested and I try and go for a first come first serve basis, however without a deposit I may be required to take another booking due to the risk of losing work. Thank you for your understanding!

Absolutely over the moon to be attending a wedding at a farm in August! I've been hoping for a job like this to pop up! Just my kinda scene :) I love my job and all the opportunities it gives me to go new places and meet new people. Again another thank you to all my customers who not only book, but reccomend me. You're all so awesome!

Had an amazing day today at the Cricket Club in Kirkby. I did loads of different face paints, stuff I haven't done before so please if anyone has any pictures post them, I never take enough! Met some amazing people as always! ###

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CUSTOMERS!
Some of you will know already but I've not been able to respond to messages for a few days. I have been in hospital with my oldest daughter who suffered a scary health problem. Luckily she is absolutely fine now and we have a diagnosis we can manage. Due to this I've had to cancel some jobs over this weekend and as much as I tried my hardest to find cover, with it being the holidays, all other painters were fully booked. I can say with confidence now that Making Magic is back from the leave of absence and I'm resonding to messages today and tomorrow. Just need time to catch up. All future bookings are going ahead. Thank you for everyones understanding. :)

Had an absolutely awesome day at The Travellers Rest in Sutton yesterday, met some amazing people and was so so busy. Again if anyone who attended has any pictures please send them me. Thank you to Amanda and her hubby for letting me take a photo. Amanda makes and sells her own cups, tumblers etc, i'll share a link to her page once I get it, she's a lovely lady and all her stuff is absolute quality! If you have a birthday or somehting coming up then message her if you're unsure on a gift, her stuff is awesome!

I'm super sorry to anyone who was looking forward to my home ed art group, unfortunitly it is with great regret that I can nolonger run the group :( Due to the price of the my materials, hall and paired with the loss of interest in the group it's just not economically viable for the price i'd have to charge per child to even break even. :( I am thinking of starting a youtube channel instead that can teach the children everything I would have taught in class but totally free of charge.

Had an absolutely amazing day yesterday and met some amazing people at both Aero Fabrications and also the Mour hotel for a lovely wedding, again I didn't take enough photos so if anyone has any that would be great! I am so greatful to all of you, I absolutely love going to new places and meeting new people, you're all amazing! I do really need to start taking pictures so I may bring my 12 year old daughter to my holiday bookings as a photographer :D

It saddens me to say this but Sutton Lawn Ashfield Show will be the last event I do for Ashfield Council. I didn't want to post my reasons but I keep getting tagged in there events etc. A lot of you will know I did Huckfest and I was none stop busy, I didn't get to keep the money I earned and was underpaid under false preneses. The same is happening with Sutton Lawn, Ashfield have already paid a deposit therefore I must attend, unfortunitly I agreed a prie for both of these events (a 4th of my usual cost) under promises that are now not being kept, apparently I cannot amend that price or charge when i'm there even though other face painters at the event will be charging and probably earning around 4 times the amount I am. I'm hoping that they will at least let me raise money for my wonderful Natalies charity Koupers birthday. I can honestly say that all this talk of supporting small businesses is nonsense. That is all i'll say on the matter. Please come to Making Magics face paint stall on the Saturday of Ashfield show. I will not be proffiting from this event but will (hopefully) be raising money for charity. Again I thank you all for your continued support, thanks to you all I do not need the council, I'm fully booked for all your parties and events :) The locals really do support family ran small businesses, the council do not.

Did you know that domestic abuse againts women rises when a guys footblass team looses, especially around big matches like last nights. I'm not usually one to write negative posts but this is something that needs awearness. For all the women that got the brunt of last nights anger, a lot of us had you in our thoughts last night. Unfortunitly it's always been an issue and always will until something is done to keep women safer. Womans aid is a fantastic charity and please please please women and girls SPEAK OUT, seek help. It's there I promise.

Thanks to the urban social club aka corner pin for having me last night, everyone was so great! Although I had to leave early because I ran out of white. I can't believe how welcoming and lovely all the punters are and even got a clap and a cheer when I was done! You're all great. Really enjoyed every second!
