It’s what I’m here for 😉
Perhaps surprisingly when it comes to your wedding florals it’s not just all about the flowers!
So much comes into the decision of what flowers and styling will work well for your day. The choice of venue, the dress, time of year, what matters to you both as a couple, size of celebration… The list goes on.
It’s my job to pull all these details together and create a day that is not only authentically you but perfectly cohesive.
Fortunately enough the details are what I love! ❤️

It seems so odd to be planing for spring 🌷 when we are still in the 2024 growing season. So much of flower farming is spent looking ahead and planning! Yesterday was all about spring bulbs and making sure all my orders are in ready for autumn planting. Today will be a mad sowing session of hardy annuals so next year can kick off in full bloom!
A few details from a shoot I organised @thewillowmarshfarm in early spring this year. Titled ‘Awaking’ it captured all the beauty of early spring as everything started to bloom after a long sleepy winter. Beautifully captured by the wonderful @ratherlovelyfilms 🤍

H I 👋🏻
For those of you that are new around here, I thought I’d say hi and tell you a little more about Frond & Bloom.
Frond & Bloom is me (well I get lots of help from the hubby!) We’re a Leicestershire based Artisan grower and Floral design studio.
I’ve been flowering weddings and events for over 8 years now and this year I added flower farmer to my résumé!
Not only do I love weddings and growing but I also really enjoy teaching and sharing my craft with others. This little clip is from Flourish a content day for florists I hosted at the beautiful @prestwoldhall earlier in the year. Working on a round too in the autumn.
For more info and all the services Frond & Bloom provides head to my website www.frondandbloom.com

Why not take some time to get some beautiful bridal portraits with your bouquet before you finish getting ready.
The morning of your wedding is a busy one but trust me capturing a few moments in you suite before the day’s festivities will not be something you regret 😉
Plus when your bridal suit is as beautiful as this stunning @prestwoldhall it would be rude not to don’t you think?

The farm is kicking out some real beauties at the moment. There’s not a huge amount of annuals apart from my beloved Sweet peas as it’s my first season on the farm and I’m spending it getting to grips with everything and tending to the perennials.
I added more small plants to the Achillea bed in the summer and now it’s paying off with a bumper crop of blooms!
If you are a florist local to me and want to get your hands on some British flowers drop me an email [email protected] 🇬🇧🌸

On the farm and after what has felt like a very long winter flowers are beginning to bloom 🌸 The fancy daffs are bringing me so much joy 🥰
I spent some time today creating an arrangement in my favourite footed bowl to celebrate the beauty the farm is giving me. 💛

42 days and counting!
Found this little video when replying to your stories. Back in lockdown when there was time to just create 🌷🍋 Note to self - more creative time this year, just because.
What do you all love to do in your spare time? Is it sad that playing with flowers is my day job and my hobby!?! 😂
