I found a reading on Facebook today and it seemed rather apt. Happening across it just now provided a perfect and timely reminder to worry less and make every day count... none of us want to wake up one day and have an 'I wish I had done things differently' list and loss certainly serves as an every day reminder to try and make the most of life too.

I've added a photo that my lovely daughter took in our garden this week, of the bees being busy while I'm accepting the need to rest.

"If I could live my life over again, I would have gone to bed to rest when I felt sick instead of pretending the earth would stop if I wasn't at work for a day...
I would have burned the pink candle carved like a rose instead of letting it melt in the pantry...
I would have talked less and listened more...
I would have invited friends to the table even if there is a stain on the carpet and the couch needs to be cleaned.
I would have eaten popcorn in the "good" room and wouldn't have worried so much about dust when someone wanted to light a fire in the fireplace.
I would have taken the time to listen to my grandfather telling stories from his youth.
I would never have insisted on driving with the car windows down on a beautiful summer day, just because my hair was freshly styled and fixed.
I would have been lying on the meadow with my head on the grass.
I would have cried and laughed less watching TV and more watching life.
But, most of all, to have a second chance at life, I would cherish every moment, I would really look at it... I would live it...
I wouldn't get so worked up over petty and petty things anymore...
Don't worry about those who don't like you, or rather, you shouldn't care who does what...
Instead, let's cherish the friends we have and the people who love us...
And to what we do every day to improve our mind, body, soul, emotions."

๐Ÿ’™ I am SO EXCITED for T & N's wedding celebration ceremony today.๐Ÿ‘ฐ๐Ÿคต

๐Ÿ’™ This gorgeous couple has been an absolute dream to work with, so laid-back and easygoing ๐Ÿฅฐ

๐Ÿ’™Their main focus throughout has been on the love that they have for each other and also for their wider family and friends.๐Ÿ˜˜

๐Ÿ’™ When it's all about the LOVE, it's clear that this is a partnership to be celebrated! ๐Ÿฅ‚

๐Ÿ’™ Where better than in a place they both feel so comfortable... I might need my snorkel! ๐ŸŒŠ ๐Ÿคฃ
Can't wait!!!!๐Ÿคฝโ€โ™€๏ธ

๐ŸŒธToday I had the honour of delivering a service which bid a wonderful and inspirational lady of Chinese heritage a safe journey.

๐ŸŒธWhat a privilege it was to be guided in the traditions of her culture by her lovely family and then to support them in doing things their way.

๐ŸŒธThe service began with the congregation being invited to light joss sticks as a mark of respect and ended with the offering of small red envelopes by the family to those who had gathered to join them.

๐ŸŒธEach envelope contained a sweet to be eaten to seal in good fortune. A coin to be spent on the way home to ensure safe passage. And a cypress leaf, needle, and red thread to be hung from the door handle on returning home, thus keeping the house happy and safe.

๐ŸŒธI was touched to be asked to take an envelope too and I used the coin to buy tiger bread on the way home, in honour of the fact the lady we gathered to remember spent her life feeding others. It felt fitting.

๐ŸŒธI wish her lovely family good health and happiness and thank them for asking me to support them during this time.
