Hello everyone!

Sorry for not posting in absolutely ages but we’ve been super super busy in recent weeks! 😴

Jamie and I have been catering at a number of outside functions and working within our pub Railway Innto provide catering services for weddings, birthdays, funerals, christenings, baby showers and everything else in between!

We’ve also been working alongside the fabulous team at Black Rose Events too!

As well as being Mum & Dad to our two little munchkins!

We’re coming up to one of the busiest times of the year for us so there’s no rest for us yet! 🥴

Keep an eye out in the next few days for news of my Christmas box of treats that will be available to purchase shortly! 🎄⭐️

We’ve decided that as May is Brain Tumour Awareness month ANY orders we receive during May, we will donate 10% of each box ordered to Islastones for their £10K in May event!

I was so honoured to be asked to cater for a virtual afternoon tea event celebrating what would be Isla Tansey’s 10th Birthday today! 💕🦄

**SHOUT OUT TO A LOCAL BUSINESS**

So after weeks of being super busy with orders since reopening, constantly hand washing, sanitising and wearing blue gloves alongside my own medical condition that causes my hands to get sore, skin split and bleed....my hands have been so so sore to the point last weeks I was in tears!

Sarah from Pamper Paradise with Sarah Kathleen came to my rescue and suggested I start using H**p Hand Cream from the Bodyshop! After 24 hours there was a huge difference in my skin!

So those of you that are suffering with sore skin/hands I highly recommend this stuff and Sarah!

When I was a little girl my Grandma always used to make “Paradise Cake”, a pastry base topped with jam, sultanas, cherries, desiccated coconut and sponge cake.

To this day it’s still one of my favourites, it’s a recipe that’s been passed down from my Grandma, to my mum and now to me! One day I’ll add it to the book of favourite recipes that I’m making for Isla & Elsie 💕

Its made me feel a little nostalgic as it reminds me of visiting her house every Sunday Afternoon. The smell of it in the oven as you walked through the front door 🤤

On behalf of Myself and Jamie, now that I’ve recovered from the busiest two days of my life (🤣) I would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone that ordered an Afternoon Tea Box from us this weekend. A total of 70+ boxes went out over the two days! 🥴 I’ll admit I don’t want to see another scone this week 🤣

I’d like to apologise once again for those that had to wait ages for their delivery, I’m honestly mortified that it happened on one of the busiest days of the year! But these things can’t be helped sometimes so I’m incredibly grateful to all our customers for being so patient, kind and understanding. 💕

We’ve had some wonderful reviews and messages from customers this weekend which has made us all smile! We loved seeing your photos from your afternoon teas! ♥️

I personally would like to say the biggest thank you to our wonderful team- Chris, Michelle & Lesley who all worked their socks off this weekend! And also to Jamie for keeping me smiling and for encouraging me to keep going when I was the most stressed I think I’ve ever been 🤣
