I’ve toyed with the idea for this post soooo many times but been put off.
On a lighter note, how crisp and fresh does this setup look? Ever Golden turns one! 💛💛💛💛💛 Thank you Jenna for booking me… and not having a face painter!
In the last two months, I’ve had two incidents with face paint. In my terms and conditions, it states that you must not use face paint and book me. The first party only disclosed this to me once I finish setting up. On the second event, I only discovered it as I collected my stock. On both occasions, I had to spend hours trying to lift the face paint out of the stock. To you, it seems like a really good idea to keep your little one’s entertained. For me, away from my family cleaning stop that otherwise wouldn’t be anywhere near as long to clean. Face paint and soft play is. Or a great combo… and despite lots of clever techniques to lift it, it doesn’t really come out. I’m on occasion, the Soft Play was so dirty that I had to put it straight into the washing machine. Luckily, it was a Sunday so it wasn’t needed the following day!
If you’re considering face painters, then we ARE NOT the company for you!

So very grateful for my partner, my mum and step dad for helping to make this dream come true. If you know me, or have followed my page for a while, you’ll know that I’m a mummy of twin toddlers. I have to fit work around the boys and most of this is done once they’ve (finally!) gone to bed!
This is all of the had work behind the scenes that you don’t see! 👀
- ��The hours of cleaning, ensuring the products are clean, sanitised and suitable for use.
- ��The researching of cleaning products, making sure they are suitable for the soft play so no damage is done when cleaning and that the products are safe for babies and toddlers when using the equipment.
- ��The time it takes to load the car, unpack the van and store it all away again safely and carefully so it doesn’t get damaged when not being used.
- The fees of all the above and our time.
Working around the kids to make sure all this can be done as efficiently as possible.
