“Sharing The Magic”
This statue of Roy O. Disney, Walt’s older brother, sits near the entrance of Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Park.
After Walt passed away in 1966, the company was in turmoil and many worried that the “Florida Project” would never be completed. Shortly before Walt had died, Roy (who was 73 at the time) promised his brother that he would see through the completion of the park. Roy was there to open and dedicate the park on October 1, 1971, and then passed away on December 20 of that same year, having fulfilled his promise. Many in the company say that Walt Disney World would not exist, if not for Roy O. Disney. It was Roy who had insisted the park be named Walt Disney World, in tribute to his younger brother, so we would always remember that it all started with one man’s dream.
This statue was created by Imagineering Legend Blaine Gibson in 1999. Blaine designed the statue showing Roy’s hand supporting Minnie’s from underneath, representing how Roy always supported Walt through his creative endeavors **copied from a post I read and found this magical and fascinating** ☺️

Christmas 2024 Announcement

Legend P.T. Barnum once said “The noblest art is that of making others happy”

As a family who love Christmas, we have decided to take this festive season off. We’ve brought smiles and happiness to children and families across the land for over 20 years but this year, we want to entertain our own. Make memories as parents, go to events as a family and cherish those magical moments standing on the other side of entertainment.

Don’t worry, we’ll be back next year and details will be announced in the Spring of 2025.

Should any business wish to have our magical Santa’s lodge (house) set up in their establishment for the festive season, please get in touch.

Santa Claus himself is available to attend events within the Manchester area too.
