Magdalen Café successfully launched its new menu cycle last week (Week 1).

Thank you for all your amazing feedback. Looks like you're enjoying the Smashed Beef & Bone Marrow Burgers in the Pretzel Bun, and the Sticky Gochujang Korean Chicken with Kimchi Fried Rice.

Today we're serving Blackened Chicken with Seasoned Wedges, Cajun Mayo, and a Watermelon, Feta Cheese, Cucumber and Mint Salad.

We proudly prepare everything from scratch using fresh ingredients.

We're redeveloping Magdalen Café to provide a more contemporary, inviting, and comfortable facility with an increased capacity and offering.

This will include new seating arrangements providing a range of high/low level, banquet and booth seating suitable for informal meeting purposes or breakout space.

The kitchen and main servery area will undergo a significant modernisation to streamline operations, ensuring faster service and offer a wider variety of hot and cold produce.

A new micro-market facility will provide sandwiches, snacks, confectionary, and hot and cold drinks. A self-serve checkout will be installed offering a service between 08:00 - 17:30hrs.

The café is due to reopen in early October with a new and exciting menu, premium handmade Italian sandwiches that can be toasted or eaten cold and a self-serve salad bar.
