I'm so thrilled and excited to announce that Pop Up Play Village - North of Bristol has a brand new owner! 🎉🎉🎉

I'm delighted to introduce you all to Sam who will be taking over the Village from December.

I know I’ve got big boots to fill but I am taking all the advice & training from Sarah that I can get so I can make these sessions just as amazing & she always has!

Well Villagers, this is not what I wanted to be posting but here we go......

Despite working super hard behind the scenes to find a new owner of Pop Up Play Village - North of Bristol, I have sadly been unable to secure a lovely new person to take over the Village 😞

So, I have made the very difficult decision to close the doors later this year.

From 1st December, the Village will be closed.

It has truly been a privilege and honour to spend these last 3 years with you all, being part of your family fun time, birthday parties, weddings and meeting so many of your Villagers in schools.

I've seen your little ones grow and for many of you, seen your families grow with new additions to your tribes. It really has been a joy to be part of.

But me and my badly behaved back can't do it anymore and I have to do what is right for me and my family.

So it is with a heavy heart that I will be saying goodbye to you.

I'll be seeing many of you at our events over October and November and these will be running as planned.

2 days until the start of term so that means 1 thing - cleaning day!

Cleanliness is so important to me, particularly because many of our Villagers are expert toy tasters 😜 EVERYTHING gets cleaned (every bit of cutlery, fancy dress and toy food, even the boxes!)

So you can be confident in the toys your little ones are exploring when you visit our fabulous village.

And yes, that means you Poppy and Pete. Not their favourite activity but now they're ready for lots of kisses and cuddles on Friday. Fresh and smelling lovely!

Pop Up Play Village has purposefully been designed as an open plan role play village without any borders or backdrops in order to provide a stress free play experience.

In order for you, our customers to feel safe and secure in our village, you need to be able to see your little ones and your little ones need to be able to see you. Backdrops and borders would completely prevent this from happening. It is so important to us that our village is a place where you can relax and know that your children are safe and happy. For your children, they can develop their confidence and independence to explore our village whilst being able to see you at all times.

Our play areas are larger as a result of not having any borders or backdrops to limit our size. This means that several families can play together in just one of our play areas and you can play with your little ones in all of our play areas.

Our village is baby proof because it is open plan. If you bring your baby to our village, you know that he or she can explore any of our role play areas as well as the baby play area and that it will be safe to do so. If your baby is on the move, we provide an environment where they can safely explore without the need for you to look for the dangers around them.

All of these reasons show just how important it was to design Pop Up Play Village as an open plan role play village in order to provide a stress free and fun play experience.

It's been a busy day here!

Ever been to one of our play sessions and thought, this would make an amazing party!

Or been to a Pop Up Play Village birthday party and thought, I'd love to do this in the week with my child?

Well the awesome thing is - our Village does both!

Today I hosted a play session at CtK Christ the King Church, Bradley Stoke, Bristol for 20 fabulous families. Then packed up, headed across town and hosted a lovely 3rd birthday party at Redland Quaker House.

Such a fun day! It was so great to see you all today 😍

There are so many options for families now, how do you choose which activity to take your little ones to? With signing, dancing, singing, crafting, messy play and physical classes, it can be tricky to decide what to invest in. I know - I've been there!

I'm the owner of Pop Up Play Village - North of Bristol (hello - I'm Sarah!) And I want to tell you what makes me proud of my role play business.

💚 𝐷𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑙𝑜𝑝𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑜𝑝𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑒𝑠 -

With every role play session, party or school visit, there are so many opportunites for children to learn through freeflow play. They are developing new social skills, mastering fine and gross motor skills, experiencing maths and languages and they don't even realise! Role play is absolutely incredible!

💙 𝑆𝑝𝑎𝑐𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑝𝑙𝑎𝑦 -

I am commited to allowing every family as much room to play as possible. Every session is strightly limited to a set number of children. No crazy amount of children here!

💚 𝑉𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑡𝑦 -

No two sessions are the same! Role play areas are rotated every session with new crafts and sensory experiences to enjoy. Every child from birth to 6 years gets a fabulous play time, every time.

💙 𝑁𝑜 𝑠𝑐𝑟𝑒𝑒𝑛𝑠 / 𝑜𝑏𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑢𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠 -

You can see your children at all times, whether you bring 1 or 5 little ones, you will always be able to see them playing. Our open plan set up means no moments of panic when you can't see them.

💚 𝐹𝑟𝑒𝑒 𝑑𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑘𝑠 -

We all love a freebie! Free tea and coffee are available at every play session, and it's unlimited - how much tea can you drink in 1 hr 15 mins?!

💙 𝐴 𝑓𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑙𝑦 𝑓𝑎𝑐𝑒 -

I am always on hand if you've had a rough night, morning or week. If you're coming for the first time on your own - you're not on your own. I'm here with you, it's always me on the door to welcome you to the Village. I can watch the bigger kids whilst you change a nappy or bring a cuppa over if you're feeding. As a mummy myself, sometimes you just need an extra pair of hands - mine are always available.

💚 𝑁𝑜 𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑟𝑔𝑒 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑔𝑟𝑜𝑤𝑛 𝑢𝑝𝑠 -

I paid £12 to sit in a cafe with my little girl the other day - that's bonkers! Not here. Bring granny, auntie, daddy and bestie along, families should play together and not be charged for this experience.

As you can tell - I love what I do and I'm proud to run Pop Up Play Village - North of Bristol.
