💥 W E A R E E X P A N D I N G... and not just our waistlines with all this wonderful food! 🤣

We are looking to extend our opening hours, but we need bar and waiting staff to join The Shaft Inn family. Training will be given.

Job responsibilities -
- Greeting customers and providing excellent customer service
- Taking food & drink orders and preparing beverages according to established recipes and company guidelines
- Serving food and drinks to customers in a timely manner
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the bar, conservatory and terrace area
- Handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately
- Monitoring customer behaviour and ensuring responsible alcohol service
- Collaborating with other staff member to ensure smooth operations

Requirements -
- Knowledge of basic maths skills for handling cash transactions
- Familiarity with food and safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong communications skills
- Ability to work well in a high pressure, team environment
- Must be at least 18 due to the nature of the business

Wages/hours -
- Subject to experience: between £9 & £12 PH
- Part time & full time hours available

Last night, we were helping Michelle to surprise her Husband Grant and Daughter Libbi to celebrate their 50th and 18th birthdays.
We haven't been to Caharrack Social Club before, but it was a lovely venue with helpful staff.

We are looking for a KITCHEN PORTER / ASSISTANT at The Shaft Inn.
We strive to offer an unforgettable dining experience, with a diverse menu of high-quality dishes made from locally sourced ingredients.

The Kitchen Porter plays a key role, with a primary purpose of supporting the kitchen team to maintain our high standards. You must be willing to help with the washing and cleaning of machinery and equipment, general kitchen cleaning and deep cleans, basic food preparation, adhering to company procedures for kitchen waste & health and safety regulations, and even some light support with the Front of House team with food service and other jobs they might need a hand with.

Due to the nature of the business, these are predominantly evening shifts, so the applicant must be over the age of 16. The rate of pay is dependent on experience.
