Can’t believe I can finally say it out loud but I’m a Master Florist. I spent 6 years at and 2 before that getting the knowledge, ideas and skills to improve my work. I’ve had opportunities and encouragement to enter and win competitions, learn from not just from brilliant teachers, but my classmates that have become friends that have amazing skills. It is sad not to see them each month, but looking forward of seeing everyone when our paths cross again! Congratulations everyone I wish you all an amazing journey onwards!

What busy year it has been, and while there are still weddings planned up until New Year still, I’m delighted to let you know I’ve been shortlisted as a Regional Finalist in The Wedding Industry Awards. I entered and didn’t expect to get shortlisted the first time round. I am Regional Finalist wohooo! The awards are in November so I’ll find out how I’ve done then.

Thank you to all of my couples that submitted a nomination and some feedback on my services to the TWIA website, so many of you did and I’m really grateful.

Can’t wait to see what November brings.

Yesterday we traveled to London to the RHS Awards Ceremony and I was able to see my amazing husband receiving the Roy Lancaster Award, for achieving an exceptional contribution to the practice , science or promotion of horticulture under 35.

We met the brilliant Roy Lancaster himself and other amazing people who have influenced our industry from all over the world.

Morning everyone, just a little post Christmas and New Year post to say we’ve survived a wonderful rest this past nearly two weeks! Consultation bookings are now in full swing for this year, and I’m still taking enquiries for 2024 weddings (as well as 2025 of course!).

And that’s a wrap (pun intended) from me now. That you to everybody that has been able to support my small family business this year, from my wonderful wedding couples, to my Christmas regulars. I’m all sold out of flowers with only a single Amaryllis and 2 yarrow left for my own house!

Thank you so much everybody. Im out of the workshop from now until Tuesday 2 Jan 2024. I’ll still be doing emails and booking in consultations for my 2024 couples though. And if you are lucky enough to get engaged this Christmas, then please get in touch!
