Goodison-Suddenly but peacefully, in the tender care of staff at Ninewells Hospital on Saturday 6th September 2025, Dorothy Gwenda Goodison passed away, aged 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Frank Goodison, dearly loved mother of Allan, Michael and Tracy and a much loved mother-in-law, gran and great-gran. Funeral on Thursday 25th September, service in Methven Parish Church at 1.30pm to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, Dot’s wishes are for bright clothing to be worn. A private cremation will take place thereafter at Perth Crematorium. Family flowers only please. A charity donation will be taken for Methven Minstrels Community Choir should you wish to contribute.

💔 In Loving Memory of Donna Ritchie 💔

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of the much-loved Donna, who fought so bravely and inspired everyone around her with her strength and courage. Donna’s inspirational battle lasted over four years, during which she showed incredible determination, never giving up, and always taking risks in the hope of more precious time.

She set herself the goal of reaching Christmas each year so she could spend her favourite time of the year with her boys – and her sheer willpower and love carried her through far longer than anyone believed possible. Donna’s resilience, bravery, and love for her family were nothing short of remarkable.

Donna’s funeral will take place at Perth Crematorium on Tuesday 9th September at 1:30pm. Following the service, we warmly invite everyone to join us for food and refreshments at Brown & Blacks in Scone – a place Donna loved – to celebrate her life together.

The dress code is smart. Black is, of course, welcome, but we would love to see a touch of pink in your outfit if possible, in honour of Donna. 🌸

Flowers are welcome, but instead of floral tributes, we would be so grateful if you could also bring along some spare change to donate to the wonderful team at Cornhill Hospice in Perth, who cared for Donna with such compassion in her final days. 🌹

Donna was loved so deeply by her family and friends, and we want to make sure her life is remembered and celebrated properly, surrounded by the people who meant the most to her. She will be forever missed, but always loved. 💜

On Thursday 21st August 2025, having been tortured for 15 weeks then taken so cruelly, by an illness continually misdiagnosed. Ravaged for a further five short weeks by this demon, which he fought determinedly until his last breath. Gordon was the whole world to his loving wife Margaret, to his beloved children Claire, Hazel & Scott, six grandchildren and all his family and friends. A real gentlemen, we are all truly better for having had him in our lives. Funeral service to be held at Perth Crematorium on Thursday 11th September 2025 at 2.30pm to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. As requested by Gordon please wear a touch of colour to brighten the day. Suddenly and tragically passed away in Ninewells Hospital, with his loving family by his side, on Tuesday 12th August 2025, Michael Dott (Dotty) aged 46 years. Much loved husband of Louisa, devoted and adored dad of Oliver and Zara and a cherished son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin and good friend to so many. Michael will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. A private cremation will be followed by a Service of Celebration on Wednesday 10th September at 2.30pm in Murrayshall Hotel, Scone, Perth, PH2 7PH to which all family and friends are welcome. Family flowers only please. In memory of Michael a charity collection will be available for Ninewells Coronary Care Unit should you wish to contribute. Bright and colourful attire to be worn to match Michael’s personality.
