A huge pleasure and honour to be asked back as the Host and M.C. for the 19th Rutland & Stamford Mercury Business Awards on Friday night. Congratulations to Sharron Marriott and Jonathan Tewson of Iliffe Media for putting together another fantastic event.

Held at the marvellous Rutland Hall Hotel and looked after by the very efficient Molly Tomlin. With some great entertainment from Encore Entertainment , it was a fantastic evening!

Massive congratulations to all of the winners and finalists - there's some great business talent in the Stamford area and I never fail to be impressed and inspired by you all!

Should the Plymouth bomb be sent back to Germany to deal with? Dave says, 'It shouldn’t be our reponsibility to take it back. We should push one of those Royal Mail delivery cards through and Germany has to collect it from us between 8am and 1pm, bringing photo ID'.
