Planning a corporate event and looking to add a burst of colour ?

We are regularly commissioned by Bardens - this time was for late summer inspired posies and gift bouquet for their annual event.

As a local company, they are always keen to support us by requesting use of local flowers and this selection includes gorgeous sunflowers and orange roses, local asters and pinks, button sanitini and solidago, chosen to create these bright and colourful arrangements and thank you bouquet. We are so sad to hear the news that dear Ted Burnell has passed away.

Ted was a regular visitor to Miss Pinks, ordering flowers and arrangements for so many friends and relatives, near and far.

He always specifically asked for our local flowers to be included in local gifts, so we are sending this bouquet to his lovely wife Jean, with our very best wishes.

He was an absolute gentleman, ex army and told the most amazing stories!

We will miss his distinct voice, instantly recognisable on the phone when he wasn’t able to come to the shop any more.

He will be greatly missed by his Miss Pinks Girls.

When does my calathea need to be watered? 🍃

When it comes to plant care, it's essential to know when your plant needs a drink!🚰

Take a look at our calathea - it is very clever and it will show you when it needs some TLC. If its large flat leaves start to curl, this is the time to water your plant.

Check out the before and after photos taken in a 12 hour period.

For other house plants, monitor the soil for signs of dryness. If it appears dry or feels light when its is lifted, it is likely that your plant needs watering 🚰
