JUST A big THANK YOU TO ALL THE GROUPS AND WALKERS WHO TURNED UP THIS YEAR and made the show a huge success and helped raise money for the RBL. A big cwtch goes out to Michael Smith of the Glosters/Wheat Sheaf for donating £200 to the RBL, I all hope you had a safe journey home. From me and Paul and all the staff at the Iron Works Bleanavon thank you for leaving the site so tidy. Will post the total that the RBL raised as soon as i get told, ###xx to you all

Defence of Blaenavon will be held at Blaenavon Iron Works on the 5/6 August 2017. The Royal British Legion who will be on site collecting donations and adding their support to this event This event is FREE for the general public to attend. Come and see history come alive, see Allied and Axsis forces living in the buildings on site. also come and sing along with our 1940`s girl singers Also the Wheat Sheaf pub will be on site giving you the atmosphere of a WW2 pub. Don`t forget your ration books.
