👀Behind The Scenes With Team 10👀

A few weeks ago I had an absolute blast at a photoshoot with my gorgeous fellow suppliers in TEAM 10 📸

There have been a few of Jolene's gorgeous photos on socials popping up since, and I will definitely be posting more, but I thought you'd love to know what happens behind the scenes:

⭐ Several months/weeks of conversations planning the theming and overall desired aesthetic of the photoshoot

⭐ Securing a date where we can all attend (SO much harder than you might think! 🤣)

⭐ Lots of laughter, silliness, and patience 😍

⭐ A VERY cold "bride" when it came to shooting outside 🤣🥶

⭐ Snacks and countless bottles of water!!

⭐ Many hours on our feet - a looooong day!!

⭐ A massive amount of mutual love, respect & friendship

⭐Before & After - Handfasting Edition⭐

Its no secret that I love a handfasting, but have you ever wondered what it actually entails and why so many couples include it in their ceremonies 🤔

⭐ An ancient Celtic ritual, this wedding tradition has really gone the distance and represents the binding of two souls in an infinite bond - its where the expression "tie the knot" comes from

⭐ After the couple exchanges vows and rings their marriage braid is draped over their hands (I weave these using their wedding theme or favourite colours)

⭐ I then tie the braid around their hands and give them each end to hold in their free hand

⭐ As the couple pulls their hands away and pull the braid is forms an infinity knot - thus forming a visual representation of the infinite bond they have sealed on their wedding day 🥰

⭐ The knotted braid is a keepsake for the couple to treasure as a lasting reminder of their big day and the promises they have made to each other
