A double Stars of the Week because Aimee forgot to post last week! Read left to right!

Stars of w/c 24th Feb. Our musical star was awarded for her loud and confident voice in class and our Acting stars were both recognised for their excellent effort with their line learning.

W/c 3rd March- our MT star was awarded for her demonstration of excellent behaviour and our Acting stars were given for wonderful expression in voices.

Stars of the Week, w/c 3rd of Feb.

Our MT star was recognised for her focus and discipline, while out Acting Stars were awarded for positive behaviour, growing confidence in class and bravery as a new starter, respectively.

Our Musical Theatre Stars were awarded for (L-R) Thinking of Others, and Hard Work.

Our Acting Stars were both given for excellent effort with line learning, which allowed them to put lots of expression into their characters.

Stars of the Week- Week 2 (w/c 13th Jan)

Our Musical Theatre stars were awarded to a returning student who jumped back in with both feet, and a student who has been focussing really well in class.

Our Acting stars were awarded to a student who worked diligently and didn’t give up and a student who exhibited excellent teamwork skills.

Well done team!

Our Musical Theatre star showed diligence and a positive attitude in class.

Our Acting Stars L-R were awarded for Friendliness to a new student, Positive attitude and behaviour, and Overcoming disappointment with grace.

The weather outside may be frightful and some schools may have inset days but we’re looking forward to welcoming back our Youth Theatre students tomorrow for our first session of 2025!

If you’re wearing wellies etc, don’t forgot to take them off at the door- slippers allowed!

Our Musical Theatre stars win their praise for consistent good behaviour and excellent focus respectively. Our Acting star was awarded to a student who listened well and did more than one act of kindness during class.

Our Musical Theatre star was recognised for her consistent hard work, polite attitude and friendly nature. Our entire Junior Acting class were rewarded for working super hard on a little project in the session.

The Mill School of Performance is launching a new Advanced Acting Class in January 2025, for 16-18 year-olds to encourage and support local young people to embark on professional acting careers.

Stars of the Week w/c 18th November.

We didn’t have any juniors make it to us on Saturday due to the snow. Thankfully it was starting to melt by the time our Middles and Seniors arrived.

Our MT stars earned their places for diligent work and never needing to be asked twice. Well done team!

Stars of the Week for W/C 11th November.

A busy one in Musical Theatre- the whole class tackled a number from start to finish (lyrics, choreography and everything!) in just one lesson. They all deserved to be stars.

And in Acting, our star was rewarded for his kindness and good attitude.

Final Stars of The Week for Autumn Term, Part 1!

Though all of our classes have worked hard at the end of a long half term, we had some stand out performers in Junior Classes this week.

Our MT stars are confident performers and balance this with exceptional behaviour in class.

Our Acting student has learned how to be a good audience member and is delighted to be recognised as this week’s Star. Well done everyone!

Our Musical Theatre stars earned their spot by always listening, understanding backstage etiquette and remembering choreography.

Our Acting Star won her place by being brave when performing and using her voice confidently.

Stars of the Week: wc 7th October

Some wonderful stars this week in both classes!

Junior Musical Theatre stars are three ladies who always listen and learn choreography and lyrics beautifully.
Two Junior Acting stars too, one who focussed and was able to let her acting skills shine through and another whose facial expressions made everyone laugh!
