When I put the order in for this. I nearly scrapped it and made my own board! This was just for the boards, boxes and mini cupcake cases.

This goes for all materials now . They are so expensive . Don’t even get me started on ingredients, electricity, petrol and all the things behind the scenes you don’t see.

When your baker has put up their prices this is why? Not only have ingredients gone up so has everything else !

Last year I see so many amazing bakers stop baking and go back to a 9-5 job because it just wasn’t worth their while.

Wow it’s a long process. So make sure you are not busy when deciding to make Sour Dough!

I actually thought it was going to be a complete disaster when I put it into the oven because it wasn’t scoring . It was abit on the sloppy side and not holding its shape!

When I got it out the oven I was like “ok , this looks ok” then when I cut it “ Yes , I did it” .
•
Notes for next time don’t add as much water to the dough mix and leave to fully cool down ( my impatienceness got the better of me)

The most OTT cake I have ever done but I’m sooo here for it. Even though none of the stuff i planned to put on the cake arrived . The factory shop Christmas collection saved the bloody day.
