We are a homemade caterer based in Rochford, Essex. We specialise in handling allergies and intolerances. Everything we produce is homemade using our unique recipes. We provide catering for all occasions which include corporate events, afternoon teas, celebrations, funerals and so much more. Our company motto is ‘Made with Love’. We are passionate about food and put our heart into our unique recip

We really do appreciate the importance of handling special dietary requirements. Our fresh ingredients are a mixture of homegrown and locally sourced. This gives us a great platform to produce our homemade orders. We are extremely proud to hold a 5-star food hygiene rating from Rochford District Council.

Sunday was the 10th Anniversary of The Cancer Research UK, 10K London Winter Run, and what a day it was!
The event was full of inspiring people and performances, and it was a wonderful experience supporting our very own Alfie.
Our hearts were also with a very special family friend who was under going Cancer surgery that day ❤️.
Alfie smashed his time, achieving a personal best of 43.31! What makes his achievement even more special is that he suffers from Eosinophilic Colitis, a condition strongly linked to food allergies. As mentioned previously, this is why Seasons in Thyme Catering was created. Unfortunately, after the run, he experienced a flare-up of his condition, making his achievement even more incredible.
He has always been determined and driven, never letting anything stand in his way. Massive congratulations, Alfie. we are all so proud of you!
We can’t wait to support you in your upcoming half marathon.

This Sunday 23rd February 2025 our very own Alfie will be taking part in the Cancer Research UK, London Winter Run.
Seasons in Thyme Catering was created because of Alfie. He was born with a medical condition that meant he suffered from multiple allergies which included food, hence where my allergy-friendly catering business comes from!
Alfie is in his final year at university studying Sports Psychology and uses food and exercise to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle that keeps his condition under control.
We wish Alfie all the luck in the world for the weekend, we are so proud of him. Good luck Alfie, as always we will be there to support you!

Wow what a night of celebration and fun at the Rochford District Council Business Awards 2025! For the third year we were a finalist which is a huge honour for myself and my allergy friendly catering business.
This year I was in the category of Entrepreneur of the Year. There were 5 incredible entrepreneurs in this category (including myself 😂) and the wonderful Emily Hewett from I am Emily Marketing took the crown. Emily is such a worthy winner and we wish her massive congratulations 🍾.
We had the honour of winning Micro Business of the Year 2023!
And in 2024 I was a finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year! Not bad for a dyslexic girl who had an business idea and nearly 9 years on my company is going from strength to strength!
Congratulations to all the finalists and winners last night, you're all amazing 👏!

On Friday, I had the pleasure of attending the launch of the new community hub. This standalone facility is available for hire during weekdays, evenings, weekends, and school holidays.

Today, I had the pleasure of visiting Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford for a PhD research workshop on sustainability transitions to net zero for businesses through local government. I was previously interviewed as part of this study, so I was particularly keen to attend.
As the owner of a micro-business, I found the workshop incredibly insightful. It was a valuable opportunity to explore sustainability strategies, and I came away with new initiatives to implement, further strengthening our commitment to this important area. I’d also be interested to hear the perspectives of other local businesses on this topic—how are you approaching sustainability, and what challenges or successes have you experienced?

We have always been very proud to be a Rochford based business, and yesterday, we found out that for the 3rd year in a row, we are a finalist at the Rochford Business Awards!
As well as this being a proud and special moment for myself and the Seasons in Thyme Catering team this is yet another opportunity for us to fly the flag for the importance of allergy catering and the impact it has on individuals and businesses.
It was a dream of mine to create an allergy friendly catering company that caters safely for all regardless of their requirements, and I now have this platform to get as much exposure as possible.
