Our Story

Back in 1992 we discovered Lower Barns; a beautiful yet derelict building that was in serious need of some TLC. We had been travelling the world and our heads were full of the colours and beauty of other lands, although none more than Cornwall.

It was a hands on renovation and conversion. Together we mixed the cement and shaped our dreams. Almost 20 years on, Lower Barns has become a gorgeous, small wedding and elopement venue. Having wooed countless couples with our unique and characterful approach, we can offer you a beautiful backdrop, so prepare to fall under the spell of this special place!
