Another sell out tour for the 2024 Harvest Supper, we also celebrated Kathleen Draycott very special 90th birthday anniversary!

It was a very busy evening, with over 60 plus guests, thanks to Keith Butten for hosting the auction which attracted a whole host of winning bids.

A huge thank you to all our guests for making it another memorable evening and finally a huge thank you to our committee and volunteers, who work tirelessly in the background to make these events happen.

All the best from the Mary Agate Hall Committee and look forward to seeing you at the next event.

2 Categories this year, Under 16 and over 16’s, each category will receive a little prize for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Last years event attracted over 30 entries, message us directly for more information on ticket purchase or just turn up on the day.

Another year done for the annual Picnic on the Green, huge thank you to everyone who turned up to support the event.

Thank you to Tickford Abbey for the loan of the marquees and also a thank you to the team at the Swan Salford for donating the buffet sandwiches 🥪

As always another thank you to all the organisers and volunteers for giving up their time.

Polling stations open from 7am to 10pm tomorrow, Thursday 4 July. If there is a queue at 10pm and you are in it, you will still be able to vote.

Make sure you remember to bring a suitable photo ID with you.

You don't need to bring your polling card to vote but it will have your polling station on it, so double-check where you are going before you travel.

Pencils and pens will be provided at the polling station but you can bring your own.

Our friendly staff are there to help you, there is one person in charge of the polling station called the Presiding Officer, and other people called Poll Clerks.

When you come into the polling station you will be asked to show your photo ID and to give your name and address. Staff will then be able to check that you are registered to vote and give you a ballot paper.

Take the ballot paper to a booth and choose who you would like to vote for by putting an 'X' in the box by their name. Only vote for one candidate.

Fold your ballot paper, place it in the ballot box, and leave the polling station.

There may be people outside the polling station who ask for your poll number. These are volunteers for political parties called tellers, they stand outside polling stations and record the number of electors who have voted. Tellers have no legal status and you have the right to refuse to give them any information.
